(The “DING-ding” on yesterday's page was the door opening… Sometimes you have to keep alert for that plot device.) Did I mention the chapter title has multiple meanings? ;-) My good titles usually do.
Seiko is playing detective again. This time with neither Yuki nor Kaida. Maybe they were just holding her back anyway. She is, after all, the genius. At least it can get her mind off her parents – and off Kaida's basement/collection (a good thing…). Feather is loosely based on my real cat (a fluffy little airhead) April.

That's rude. If my cat was gone and returned to me, I'd insist on making dinner for her rescuer! (Of course, she'd never scratch anyone up. April loves people, especially strangers oddly enough.)

Oh, wow...Like an hour ago I walked to the convenient store and the whole way there, I noticed posters lookin' for a lost cat. (Cute begging, I can't sleep, I can't eat, I miss my cat...posters.) I'll be damned if that cat wasn't sittin' outside the gas station...After chasing it around for an hour and one scratched up arm later I was knockin' on the door of the owner (Luckily, she lived in my apartment complex.) I asked her if I could use her bathroom to wash my bloody arm from her cat and she told me no and slammed the door in my face. You and your mean old cat deserve eachother, I screamed as loud as I could at the closed door. I'm not kidding...This just happened.
