It all seems suspicious, but Seiko knows that Kaida is “the target.” Seiko is treading lightly but, being the trusting lady she is, she believes those tickets mean “I'm coming to town. Be out of the way.” Instead of taking that advice, Seiko is trying to get her friends away from future ground zero. (I know it's hard to follow “Seiko logic,” but hang in there, you'll get to take a trip on her train of thought in the near future.)

Sorry about the text crunch in panel two. I actually had all that in my original page, handwritten smallish. Oh, and I'm sure I've mentioned this, but I love writing for Mike. He has the best lines.

The ladies were hanging out at Modern Day Witchdoctor yesterday. Make sure to check that out. ;-)

Peipei: Given her past, Kaida usually remains wary, but her guard is down now because she misinterpreted her absence of gifts (maybe she shares Mike's theory). Maybe Seiko is just letting her have one day of peace.

n_y_japlander: It isn't necessarily a bad thing to not understand Fudo's mind… ;-)
