After her initial anger, Seiko is quick to resort to begging/reasoning. (She hasn't figured out that you can't always talk people out of things.) Jerry is a bully. He cannot honestly believe Seiko is the single cause of all his grief, but she makes an easy and convenient target. He is spineless and wouldn't dare go up against Kaida or Yuki. (BTW, I'm trying a new shading technique for “night” scenes. Expect more of the same for a few pages.)

Gonna break up this intense page with some fun news. I finally gained enough coloring confidence (thanks, everyone :) ) and have enough characters to start a project I have been mulling over for many months. It is the Used Books cast in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

n_y_japlander: The tickets aren't for this same day, and we don't know if Fudo knows about Jerry or the jailbreak. But times like this do call for a few should haves. (Should have called a cab…)

Peipei: It's just not Seiko's day. :( It would've been better if one of her “boyfriends” had walked her home. Jerry just isn't a nice guy.
