Five panels, one speech bubble. Yeah, this page is a little different than my usual talk-heavy stuff.

I know the angle/anatomy is a little off in the last panel. There's a reason for that. Blond guy's left hand was drawn nearly five months later than the rest of the page. The original position looked so weird. It bothered me to no end until I finally got out a piece of paper, drew a new hand on it, and replaced the old one digitally (and creased Seiko's shirt to fit). It's not perfect, but it is about 20 times better.

There is some news from real life. Bethany got a job! Tomorrow she picks up her uniform and starts training as a night security guard. Way to go, Bethany! (And thanks for leaving me in the job hunting dust. -_- )

n_y_japlander: hehe… :-D Your comment made me grin for reasons I cannot explain – except b@lls is a funny word. (Yeah, I sometimes have a juvenile sense of humor.)

LanceDanger: I'm glad the “night effects” are working. The soft spotlight thing is pretty helpful in directing people's eyes (and hiding the lack of background details o.O ).

Peipei: Seiko does need rescuing a lot… It would be nice if she could defend herself a little better.

ShinGen: Thanks. Coloring is fun but tedious. I am putting forth a full coloring effort in my other not-so-regularly-updating- but-much-better-art project.

maritalbliss: Poor Seiko's biggest asset is a wide circle of friends and a good helping of dumb luck – which is important when you suffer from tremendously bad luck. lol
