Seiko is once again angry and throwing things. You might recognize the big thug. He was hanging out with Fudo (and Mike) back in chapters 8 and 9.

Masq: That's trouble at the door… with his “friend.”

Peipei: The “local” section of Borders is full of “real life ghost story” books. Fun to read, but if there are ghosts around, they stay away from me.

maritalbliss: Our cat Thomas has a “something's wrong” alarm. Unfortunately it's the same alarm for “the basement is flooded” as it is for “my food dish is empty.” Usually, he leads the way to the problem like a feline Lassie.

Tantz: A few months ago, maritalbliss dubbed me queen of cliffhangers. If I don't live up to my title, she'll take away my shiny crown. (And I'm not afraid of you. I have a sun lamp.) Fudo evidently didn't find anything useful in Tristan's apartment, aside from a way to tick off Seiko.

Sea Cow: I never even thought about it, but Mike would say stuff like. He'd probably go around back and knock on Seiko's door if he wanted in.

Locoma: Mike always brings smiles. :) And thanks. Color + night is tricky. I used a modification of the shading technique I adopted for the b&w pages.

Jonko: Thanks. :-D

Ten chan: Thank you! ^_^ The color effects are mostly a result of reduced contrast around the edges. Plus, there is a certain texture that I love to use for carpets.

n_y_japlander: Yep. -_-
