My friends and I used to help the janitors clean the cafeteria after lunch. We washed the tables, folded them up, mopped the floors. It was fun. (We were dorks; I admit it. We didn't want to be with all the other students in the gym.) Anyway, that's Seiko, the dork helping the janitor after graduation. ;-)

n_y_japlander: Yeah, they were quite close. I think Fudo needs Toyo more than the other way around. (Fudo doesn't have many friends, but Toyo's pretty damn likable.)

LanceDanger: I don't think he's that anxious to find death (saw himself as a pretty evil guy, at least back then), but he can't think of any other resolutions.

Tantz: lol. Toyo is WAY too optimistic.

ShinGen: It was the most reassuring thing Toyo could think to say. (“Yeah, you're screwed” would probably have been less helpful.)

Peipei: At least he used to feel regret. That part of him could still be in there somewhere, but a lot has changed.

Locoma: It mostly shows contrast and why Toyo is being so caring and trying to help. (It could *hint* at Mike's behavior, but Mike didn't meet Fudo until later on.)
