I liked drawing the third panel. I have a real aversion to people getting physically close to me – and I liked drawing the emotions here. Also, just FYI, I chose to use a less common spelling for “Merideth” on purpose. (No, really, it was on purpose!)

I'm feeling withdrawal from comic drawing, since I'm at my parents' house with no scanner, so I decided against drawing pages here (no worries; I have my buffer pages). I'm staying sharp by scripting my next chapters. Plus I drew some cool sketches (a realistic Kaida and a somewhat bishonen style Tristan). I'll share them when I return. Oh, and I'm catching up on my reading – Sherlock Holmes.

n_y_japlander: (*rollseyes* Men… ;-) ) Yeah, Kaida was/is rather prone to violence.

LanceDanger: The nice ones always end up getting hurt. :-p

Tantz: Interesting insights as always. Kaida was pretty good at getting into trouble.

dueeast: Thanks. Kaida has a natural talent. ;-)

trevoramueller: It is the kind of event that stays with you for a while…

Peipei: Kaida didn't shoot Toyo. One of the bad guys did. That's why I put in sound FX, to try to make it clearer that the shots came from opposite directions. (Sorry for the confusion. She wouldn't shoot Toyo, and even back then, her aim was dead-on.)

Loud_G: Violence and death keep things interesting. XD

ncbaddwolf: At least it's a very brief headache.

ShinGen: Hehe. I always enjoy your commentary.

Locoma: Thanks. Glad I can still surprise people now and then. :-D
