I wasn't able to clean this page up very nicely because of all the “rain.” I did the best I could.
I have some fun news. Unfortunately, it's not about me but about my sister. She has gotten confirmation for her job teaching English in Japan. She has been assigned to work/live in Tateyama. She'll be leaving shortly after Christmas. I'm a little bit jealous but super happy for her. (Meanwhile, I still haven't found a job. :-/ )
n_y_japlander: She's really trying to get there this time. Just having some trouble.
LanceDanger: Well, Yuki's not the one getting married today, but she does have something in common with the bride. ;-)
Tantz: That would certainly give one an aversion to weddings. o_o
trevoramueller: Yep. There's a little Yuki back story in this chapter. Sadly, no Yuki “flashbacks” at the moment.
Locoma: Ah, you noticed her expression. Yeah, Kaida and Yuki are best friends. They know quite a bit about each other. ^_^

That looks cold... wedding soaked by the cold harsh rain.

Oh man, she has to walk to her own wedding in the rain. Poor girl.

Congrats! My wife has been learning Japanese for the last 2 years. She would love an opportunity like that. :)

I taught in Japan myself for a few years. I really enjoyed it. Your sister will come back a changed person.

Congratulations for your sister! And an interesting encounter, this. Is this the bride?
n_y_japlander at 12:08AM, Dec. 8, 2007
so Yuki and the bride are on the wrong side of town... HMMMMMM... Where does your sister live now? The reason, Chiba, like Tokyo has strange weather (to me that is). It is very hot and very hummid in the summer, and cold and dry in the winter (the dry makes it feel colder than it is) so, if you are from the N, or east coast, the summers are the same! If from the west or high plains, the winters are...
