I'm really happy with the first panel. I think I just love to draw forests. I drew this page while fully immersed in my plant ecology class in graduate school. I'm happy with the forest composition. This is a fun little conversation. Take from it what you will. Maybe foreshadowing, maybe irony. (Remember that Celes was and is a fugitive. ;-) )
With the new genre and style categories, I've now labeled Used Books an Adventure/Mystery in a Sketch style. (I miss being the #2 “Noir,” but UB really isn't noir. Yay for mystery!)
man in black: It does? That's news to me. I'll definitely take it as a compliment. (I always consider my work sub-par. I'm a writer, not an artist.)
Masq: We can't hold Thomas like that, but my other cat, April, loves to be held any sort of way.
Peipei: Cats are great. Our home was incomplete before my roommates and I adopted ours from the pound.
LanceDanger: Awe. :-(
Tantz: Tristan does maintain a cool composure, especially when no one is around.
blntmaker: Tristan is an especially fun thread in this story. ^_^
trevoramueller: My dad has a dog phobia. (He was actually hunted by a feral pack in India, so I can't blame him.) But I like dogs, cats, and all other critters.

Hunted by a ferral pack of dogs in India...now that's an interesting story to tell, and I'd like to hear more about (if it's okay). PM me if you don't want to show it to the whole world. :D

hmmm...I have a feeling they might have a run in with a fugitive who is camping out in the forest...Or even worst yet, Fudo :o...
