usedbooks on Dec. 26, 2007
Back at the bookstore… ;-) I remember learning how to pick simple locks when I was a kid. I practiced on my sister's diary and on a set of toy handcuffs. Not a skill I'd try to make into a career, but it does make prying into one's siblings' affairs easier. I imagine there is no privacy if your “concerned” (nosy?) brother is a self-proclaimed cat-burglar.
My parents got me one of those “How to Draw” kind of books for Christmas. It's a fantasy, exaggerated Disney type style (nothing I really can use in my comic), but I played around and made this just for fun.
LanceDanger: I've rarely done any proper camping. I love spending time in our cabin by the river (no phones, no water).
Peipei: I always assumed I'd live to old age, until I was in a serious car accident at 19, and it dawned on me that I was mortal.
Tantz: Glad to hear it. ^_^
dueeast: It's a nice, peaceful panel. A rare mood around here. (The Christmas thing is a little strange. It's mid-spring in the comic. ;-) )

man it's so fun to read a bunch of usedbooks pages in a row. I've always wanted to learn how to pick a lock :D this story has 3 storylines! Nice drawing BTW, you're a fast learner

This is a nostalgic page. My brothers and I would pick locks all the time when we were small XD.
