Happy New Year!

The “stretcher” in the last panel is based on a book (yes, I read a lot of those) about wilderness survival I was given in middle school. When I was a kid, it was my fantasy to run away and live in a forest, so my parents gave me a tent and some survival books. (I wonder if they were trying to tell me something…) It's a cool book. It tells you everything to take with you when hiking, and then how to find or make those things if you don't have them. The back is full of wilderness first aid info. I've used it as a reference for many stories I write. – That and the “Worst Case Scenario” handbooks. Those really help write your way out of corners.

Locoma: Happy New Year to you too! It's always a fun surprise to me to see where what page I'm on during a holiday. ^_^

LanceDanger & Tantz: It's expected because he's the person one would least like to run into out there. (Although relatively harmless at the moment.)

blntmaker: My favorite way to end pages is with a big reveal, a punchline, or a “think-about-it.”

Peipei: Seiko has a lot of heart, but not much common sense. He's very lucky it wasn't someone else who found him.

man in bliack: Happy New Year!

dueeast: Gotta love a dangerous man. XD It's satisfying (and unexpected) to see him in a state of helplessness.
