We will be exploring more of Mike's history later, not so much his history as his father's. Mike was too young back then to have significant memories. As you should recall, his dad was murdered when Mike was a toddler. While Mike knows the details of the man's death, he knew very little of his life.

I had a weird day yesterday. I had a migraine, so I lost my grasp of communication. Every word and sight seemed alien. On top of that, I had insomnia. I ended up watching an episode of the original Star Trek at 6 AM – which is really trippy when one has a migraine… My left side was numb for most of the day, and my memory is still sort of faulty. I did mail my resume/cover letter for a job. Luckily, I wrote it a couple days ago, when my brain was working; I'm glad I finished my Off Hours contribution before it hit me. (If I did any correspondence with people yesterday and lacked sense, that's the reason.) I probably won't be back at 100% for a couple days. It takes a while for my mind to recover, so bear with me.

(Incidentally, when I woke up and saw the new DD layout, I thought it was my weird migraine-y misperceptions still at work!)

LanceDanger: Yeah, she's fun. It took a bit of debating to settle on a color for the streak in her hair.

Peipei: Maybe so. At least she's not timid. ^_^

JustNoPoint: Mike's had a few good scares in his life. Oh, and I hate his hair. I have from the beginning… When I originally drew him, I didn't intend him to be a recurring character and then I ended up stuck with him. ;-)

amanda: Unfortunately, people don't always get out of those sorts of relationships, but Ms. Taney did. She and Kaida should start a club. lol

trevoramueller: Thanks. :)

Tantz: Mike just doesn't know how to react to positive attention. It confuses the poor boy. XD
