I haven't drawn Tristan's apartment in a while. It's a very crummy/slummy studio apartment. Bare minimum furniture. I think his paper-thin worn mattress sets the scene. I also boarded up his window because, well, it was broken last time we saw it.
Don't ask how Conrad ended up in Tristan's apartment and in this conversation. I know it seems strange/sudden, but bear with me and just go with it. ;-)
ghostrunner: No monologuing for basemen! Leave that for outfielders! XD
amanda: Not at a high school game! It's a “Pepsi” hat. ;-) (And some daydreaming is expected when the pitcher really sucks.)
LanceDanger: It's tough leaving animals behind, but sometimes we have to. Like when you go off to college or, as in this case, it is the pet of a roommate.
Peipei: It might be wiser to drop everything and get out alive. Not that Seiko would necessarily do that. She has some intellect but not much wisdom.
Tantz: I'm not a sports fan. I know more about baseball than basketball or (American) football though.
JustNoPoint: Maybe the end of an episode/season. I'd be very disappointed if a series/movie ended like that. (I have seen movies that ended like that. Infuriating!)
n_y_japlander: He he. It does seem that way.
trevor: As much as I like vibrant colors, I think they come off too cheery for much of my story. I do colored pages as a nice bonus because it is something I actually have some capability to do (and it compensates for crappy line art ;-) ).

yeah I agree with amanda, besides tristan's location was never that clear to me... and it kind of makes sense that he took care of seiko. It's like he's keeping an eye on the group

Sean Connery could never understand what Tristan is going through. He gets all dem ladies!

The coloring certainly adds a level of depth to the world you have created here, which I think is unique and necessary (however, it may not be necessary all the time, because you're right - when you get down to it, this is a noir story and black and white creates a noir mood best). I just wanted to let you know that those pages stand out in a positive way! :D

Heh, it seemed perfectly natural to me that Conrad would be friends with Tristan and thus be in his apartment. *shrug* They just seem the type that would get along together. This is the moment where Conrad should suggest that he and Tristan go on a search-and-recover mission for Seiko.

I knew he had a thing for Seiko :3. I mean, it was obvious from the beginning, but now, I guess it's really starting show xD. Poor Tristan ; ;.

Lonesomeness in a crummy apartment... good that someone is there to get him out of it. XD
