I like to include animals in my story, but they aren't just here for the sake of cuteness. All of them serve a function in the plot. I consider them characters in their own right – without anthropomorphizing them, of course. So, um, introducing another new character!
ghostrunner: :-)
roycemarie: Lol. I too prefer quiet dining or going to museums. But when I lived in the city, my roommates sometimes could talk me into going out at night, and that was always fun (but tiring).
Peipei: Seiko is on a mission. It's impossible to reason with her. XD
patrick: Old and worn has much more personality than shiny and new. ;-) I enjoy having a range of social classes among protagonists and antagonists. Actually, most of my main characters are fairly well-off. (Though some of them like to collect antiques or visit parts of the city they ought not to.)
Tantz: She certainly is, be it an asset or a fault.
LanceDanger: Indeed she is. XD
DAJB: People focused on a goal sometimes forget their manners. -_- Since time is a factor, the tire will have to wait.

It's good that your animals have a role to play. I'm still trying to figure out a good way to include an animal (or a pet) into a comic. Everything that I include also has a reason or a purpose, and since I haven't come up with one yet, there's no reason to include it.

I love the last frame. Good dialogue this page, nice lighting effects. :)

That dog certainly is slow to react. XD

Oh crap. A guard dog :s. Quick, throw it a steak...Erm...They brought a steak, did they? xD

I hope the dog turns out friendly. Big growling dogs are not fun.
DAJB at 12:35AM, Nov. 10, 2008
Gaaah! Let's hope she remembered to bring that slab of poisoned steak!

I think you should name the new character "Skittles!" I'm not sure you're aware but Seiko is actually picking the lock wrong. To open a lock like that you'd need two picks: One should be fairly straight and have teeth to catch the mechanism like a key would and another should be L-shaped, the short end of the "L" would go into the keyhole and you'd use it to turn the lock. Sarah Connor picking the lock to her cell door in Terminator 2 is actually pretty accurate. I'm not sure you appreciate being told that detail...
