HGTV was my reference point for how a wealthy man's home might look – hence the crown molding and marble fireplace. ^_~ Actually, I had severe writer/artist block on this page. My comic was in limbo for weeks while I tried to figure out 1) how to draw this room and 2) what they would talk about. I finally had a “well duh” moment and realized that Hecate was the most natural topic of conversation.

roycemarie: They certainly are. It's an intelligent and powerful breed, but also really beautiful, imo.

ghostrunner: The trick is to make it believable.

DAJB: ^_^

patrick: Lol. The dog was going to be named Anubis, but I decided to make it a female for the sake of metaphor. ;-) I know Hecate as a deity of witches. After I picked the name, my friend Gael informed me that she is often pictured with a dog or represented by a dog herself.

Peipei: Strange how cute and dangerous often go hand-in-hand. XD

Tantz: That's definitely the case if you rely on dogs to protect your property, but Hecate is more of a personal body guard. ;-)

trevor: I draw animals way better than people. They've also always been part of my life (*cough*biologydegree*cough*), and I just can't create a world without them. Jiro was part of the original cast – including just three women and him.

amanda: Hooray for pajamas so awesome that two awesome people invented them independently of each other!

JustNoPoint: That just proves that you're only a run-of-the-mill villain rather than a mastermind. XD Raidon is very interested in talking with Seiko (for reasons that will be apparent in a few pages) and he wants to at least appear amiable to Kaida's friends. ;-)

LanceDanger: That sounds… fun. I've never been bit. My dad has been bit by many dogs and once hunted by a feral dog pack. (He's not much of a dog lover. XD )
