My brother posed for panel 2. It actually ended up looking more sinister than I intended. (My brother pretty much always looks sinister.) He's supposed to just look amused and playful, pointing out Seiko's evening transgressions.
I am leaving today to go to a science conference. The hotel *should* have wireless, so I should be able to read comics and comments. I'll be back Sunday. (Tomorrow's page is already uploaded.) If I don't reply to comments or comment on the comics I frequent, you know the reason. ;-)
ghostrunner: Maybe a little.
Peipei: Raidon is very good at getting people to trust him.
Tantz: Seiko getting past the defenses of an old pro like Raidon would certainly be a neat trick. XD
LanceDanger: That reply will be tomorrow. Seiko has to outline her suspicions first.
amanda: Thanks. I haven't seen many big, fancy houses myself. We have a different kind of “molding” around here.
patrick: Kaida's collection of weaponry is much more impressive, and she's not a villain – not entirely. You have to keep interesting things around just in case a fight scene breaks out. XD
trevor: I don't like stories where animals are “main characters” – mainly because people tend to give them human traits like jealousy, vengeance and regret. I absolutely loathe that. (If there's a dog in the story, it should act like a dog, not a man!) It is my practice/belief that an animal can never be a protagonist or an antagonist. An attack dog might be a threat, but he isn't a “villain.” ;-)
JustNoPoint: What I meant was that since Kaida and Seiko are roommates, if he's nice to Seiko, Kaida might be less inclined to continue turning him down. (He has other reasons for wanting to talk to Seiko too.)

"I don't believe illegal actions necessarily mean someone is bad ..." Like, if I was to try breaking into your house, for example ...!

But what about flicks like Homeward Bound (wow, I'm a nerd) where the dogs are the main...and really the only...characters? Or Pride of Baghdad written by Brian K Vaughn? I thought these were pretty neat, powerful stories. But you're right, they do give animals human-like emotions and characteristics. However, I think it's done so that people can more easily relate to the characters and the story.

Which I doubt she can pull. XD

All together because we're all thinking it: *Mr. Burns voice* "Excellent!" I actually sit with my hands folded like that myself, it helps me ponder things. Villainous things.

It *is* a sinister pose! But it fits him really well - he may be being playful, but he's still a creepy sort. I wonder how upfront he'll end up being. Have fun at the conference!
