As you can see, I am constantly experimenting with “nighttime” coloring. This is more subtle, but I think you can tell it's night.

In one of my earlier drafts of the script, Conrad was in this scene along with Violet. It was kinda fun that way, but I had a lot of trouble resolving the rest of the plot around his presence. Basically, this scene alone set up a huge writing block. I considered leaving Violet and Conrad out of this completely (in an attempt to save my plot), but that messed up future arcs as well as causing other issues with this one. Frustrated, I abandoned the script and worked on future storylines instead (like the birth of Brigit's baby ;) ).

One day, as I was walking in the park, the solution came to me in a flash (weird how that happens). Conrad wouldn't logically be here at all, but Violet would. She is his liaison (plus, this is not a life or death mission, just a planning meeting). After that, all of the pieces of the plot fell together rather nicely. ^_^
