I really nailed “past Kaida and Fudo” here, imo. I love how their expressions turned out. ^_^
If you aren't reading this yet, check out the 2012 DrunkDuck Radio Play. It's a fantastic community collaboration showcasing tons of talent in scripts, art, and voices. I drew one of the later pages (stay tuned) and lent my voice too. (Not sure how I was talked into that. I don't much care for my voice. Heh.)

BOOKS FOR ART!
I have finished http://usedbooks.deviantart.com/art/The-Masquerade-in-Print-297146292?q=gallery%3Ausedbooks forget about it until dinner time. It's the laziest kind of cooking. (Not wise to do with Top Ramen or boiled eggs, though.)
Anubis: Me too! And I'm not even that fond of Italian food.
Peipei & LanceDanger: Thanks! I have a good picture of the “cottage” (or shack XD) in my mind's eye.
Tantz: A lot of spaghetti sauce recipes call for long cooking, 4 to 8 hours, over low heat – especially if you add some kind of meat (so it falls apart into the sauce) or if you are making it from scratch with fresh tomatoes.

Looks like someone's starting to remember stuff! Cooking from scratch with fresh tomatoes doesn't take more than 20 minutes if it's simple. And cooking meat in it COULD take more time but 6 hours? Sounds extreme. I know because I cook tomato sauces (and generally pasta sauces) like, daily. They're the fastest thing to make if you don't go for a sandwitch.
