I was looking forward to drawing this page – which also means anxious because I never know if I'll be able to pull it off. It's not exactly like I imagined, but it works. Toyo is both the sage and the clown (inspired by the optimist sage in my own life, my mother).
Not sure if anyone recognizes young Blade without his goatee. Blade has been on Jack's crew for a long time.
