This conversation took a lot of dialogue pruning, a visit to the thesaurus, and a fair bit of speech balloon tetris. Kaida isn't accustomed to putting thoughts or feelings into words, so figuring out those words is tricky. Mike, on the other hand, wears his heart on his sleeve. (That's a big part of why I like writing these two characters in scenes together.)
