I have finally been able to focus and get pages completed in a reasonable amount of time, so yay. I start work in four weeks, so I can't promise to keep up the momentum, but it's nice to have my focus back. I think this deviation from the main plot is helping my art too. I have not made any writing progress yet, but I have hope.
This week on random things I Googled to avoid anachronisms: Push button office phones. :P

I've never worked in WV (grew up there), but yes, I am working on the Blue Ridge Parkway (VA) this season, starting in May.

I love all my coworkers, so meetings never bother me unless it's upper management or departments I don't usually interact with. Strangers make me uncomfortable (especially ones in power positions).
