OzoneoceanI always hated shaving until I started using a badger brush and old fashioned dual edged razor. It's a much closer shave - if you don't mind the sight of blood…

fuuuk, i've got a cold. I use like 5 billion kleenex(save the rainforest~) and throw each of them at the trash, but only 3/4 make it in. It builds up into this snotty white pyramid i avoid touching at all costs.
I imagine the same pile can be found in a chronic masturbator's room.

I do the same thing. About 6 months ago I also got a try-out can of shaving cream that is still goin strong.
Why do I love shaving?
1. My beard is totally grey. I grow one and I look 10 years older (I'm already over 40)
2. After being in the field for a week and shaving very haphazardly (hand held mirror, soap and cold water) then having to put on my gas mask for NBC drill. Taking off the mask after the hours we spent with it on was like the images from the Youtube video about the bikini waxing. Helmet chin straps and stubble also don't go together.
Since then; shaving? naked face? no problem. :)

Well you know how change is: you want to try it, but when you do it's a big shock. Like getting into a cold swimming pool. It takes time to get used to. ?_?
Shaved face… feels pornographic, feels… cold. :(
No longer is there a defining, distinguished, manly beardy thing… Just a pink blob on top of my neck. And my beaky, pointy nose looks even pointier and beakier.
Man… Shaving my face makes me feel like a transvestite.
But I'll stick with it!!!!!! …I'll try.

actually, it's kind of like that with my dad…he shaves his beard off occasionally, but he always, always keeps the mustache he has.
however, there was one time–I forget why–that he shaved his whole mustache off.
I didn't recognize him anymore, it looked so eerie D8
heck, it was like Mario without a mustache. it just…doesn't happen, and shouldn't happen.

It's Satan's own turds is why. Have you tried animating with it? It's a pain in the fucking arse, spine, neck and every other part of the body. It doesn't seem to matter how hard or how long I scrub my hands, the fucking stuff seems to attract dirt, like a filthy, vile dirt magnet of some description.
And I have to use wire armatures because I can't afford to buy those nice ball and socket ones and can't get the materials to make my own. I hate wire armatures, they're far to stiff and it's nearly impossible to keep the shape.
Of course the set's made of the bloody stuff too, so they tend to meld together, getting purple all over the guy's skin and shit like that. I got up at one point to get something to eat and when I cam back his fucking arm had actually melted into the wall.
But, I hate drawing as well. I'm really starting to wonder if I want to make a career out of this.

Custard TroutYep! it's tedious I agree, even when using a polymer clay to buff up the armature, make some joints it's a pain, and ball and socket armatures are absolutely way out of my price range. one other pain in the ass is wiping hands on jeans to get the stuff off, then having a puppet covered in masses of blue fluff when you move it for the next shot… God damnit you're speaking sense. but hey, it's a long winded animation form, so I suppose it's something you have to put up with. but seriously, full plasticene sets? they must weight a tonne.

Seems like the only time I can work on Ryu's Krew (story comic) is on the weekends. During the week, I seem to be too lazy.
But Chaotic World (strip comic) I can work on during the week.
Bad thing about that, is, I already have a ton of Chaotic World done. So I want to work on Ryu's Krew, but I can't :\ Because for some reason, my body denies me.
But, I'm uploading the first page to both RIGHT now. Which is crazy. I figure I'll update once a week on Ryu's Krew, so I shouldn't be too bad. :D

my rock band 2 guitar strum is malfunctioning… and I'm too lazy to open it up and fix it.
why did EA/Harmonix mess up something that was working after they fixed it.
although there is this fun diddly-doo to do:

unfortunately the program that EA has messes up the face paint so this is the only character that I have that doesn't have face paint.
“Hey check out this fun new thing! Oops! We messed up and overlooked something!”

my wife made excellent chicken pot pie last night. and i mean excellent. almost the best she's ever made…(as far as chicken pot pie goes) so excellent in fact, that i had a piece last night, and two pieces for lunch.

Winter is here. That means I have to put the respirator away, toss my spray paint into storage and wait until next year to put all the ideas and sketches I had in mind on panels. Plus, even though I won't be painting, it doesn't mean I'll have any extra time to work on comics since winter is always a really busy time with work and school.
I never have any problems with the beard and respirator personally. I wear it for entire days at a time too.

Iba do you spray lacquers or something? Get a decent exhaust fan and a semi enclosed spray booth and you can spray all year long. I work with enamels and acrylics and with a spray booth there is no problem. I get away with doing lacquer clear coats just so long as I leave the room once done and let the fan take care of it.
I build models. It just occurred to me that I've more money building models than I ever did doing artwork. How the hell did that ever happen? :)
I only have to use the respirator for working with resin. A respirator really won't be affected by facial hair as a perfect seal isn't necessary unless working with various toxic dusts and poison gas or in low pressure/oxygen enviornments.

Nah, I do stencils and graffiti on big wooden panels and whatever other surfaces I can get my hands on. I have a really good spray booth up at my school, but some of the pieces I work on are too big for it/ on outside walls ( I get permission to cover up tags with artwork from store owners.) / etc. Plus, it's been shut down for the last couple weeks because we had someone take out the filters in the exhaust vent to use the booth as a smoking lounge. -_-

wait for some poor “sucker” to come in and let off a whole heap of bug bombs through vents in the floor! Hahahahahaha!
So funny… Or nasty. One of the two.
Or… make sure the top of the thing is air tight. Not the base, just the top half.
Then pump in some hydrogen. :)
Boom.
