Wyrden is such a cool comic. I am very interested to know where this Nightshade plot will go. The newest page is great. Sexiness and atmosphere, rolled into one. Naked women who are really werewolves are ALWAYS hanging out on my rooftop….

………………………………………………………………………

Devil-Jack updates. The Mob Boss Genetti is having second thoughts about raising his brother from the dead….and he should!!! Nocturnus has something E..V…I..L….under their sleeves.

Tim Tyler has so many great comics here at DD, it's like he's our very own Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, all rolled into one. Blood Reign and Devil Jack is one of his early comics, full of horror, suspense and a healthy dollop of black humour.

This is the kind of comic we all wish we could have been making when we were starting out. Hell - this is the sort of comic most of us wish we were making now!

*************************

By contrast, things are rather quieter over in the latest instalment to Shades, as we reach the end of the conversation between our First Century warrior queen called Boo and our WW2 fighter pilot called Doug.

Hmmm - that sounds so much more surreal when it's written down!

@ Viperous Effect - An interesting rude awakening. Nice use of black and white and this does make you wonder exactly what he saw to shock him so.

Due East updates today with the 3rd and final Lindsay filler! This one has it all: cameos from Wolf and Devon Legacy, a Power Rangers parody and Lindsay as you've never seen her before!!

Off Hours updates today, too! The weather takes a turn for the decidedly worse, which is the last thing Andrea wanted to hear… Introducing new OH artist smkinoshita of Super Temps and script by me (Allen of Due East).

I've always liked smkinoshita's work on Super Temps so seeing the work here, with a fairly static page, with some distressing news isn't always easy to pull off. With the very funny and understandable body language and facial expressions, its pulled off very well.

Due East has taken a break from the drama with a fun interlude. Definitely a good laugh.

EDIT:

Whoops, thanks for the reminder! Ugh, this isn't my first time so I really should know better. :P

The girls and other party goers are interrupted by some rude folk and it escalates in pure Rival Angels form and violence.

*Pokes albone* You forgot to say stuff about your update. (*cough*pointofthethread*cough*) Anyway, nice page of girls hurting each other, as usual. ;) Not in the ring this time, but I guess you can take the girl out of the ring but not vice versa. That red-head shouldn't be instigating people. Bad form! I think Sabrina had a valid reaction. Name calling is lame.

In Used Books, Mike is viewing a tape of his father's political debate 17 years ago. This is the very first time he's seen his father outside of still photographs.

Yay! I get to comment on MAG-ISA again!
I thought that dialogue scene was anything but boring. It brilliantly sets up the next page. The piece of dialogue in the second panel was so over the top that it made me laugh. I don't know if that was what you were going for; but it was awesome. The comic continues to have professional-quality writing. I also like the photo backgrounds; they give it a very unique quality that sets it apart from other webcomics.

Comicdeoxyribonucleicacid has updated with the third page of a three-page story about Secret Agent Stan's mission to bring down the evil Segway Man. It includes a shocking twist ending.

Comicdeoxyribonucleicacid has two things going for it. First, it reminds me of R. Crumb's art and humor, and two, it made me laugh out loud quite a few times! :D

Hah! A crossover! I love it! VERY funny.

Oh, speaking of which —not only does the CROSSOVERLORD feature Mindmistress and Dasien sniping at each other, but references to Energize, Bombshell, Heroes Unite (all on Drunkduck) and the entire pan-webcomics Crossover Wars! Check it out at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=422633.
Al Schroeder of MINDMISTRESS http://mindmistress.comicgenesis.com—think the superhero genre is mined out?

Think there are no new superhero ideas?

Crossoverlord looks cool. Crossover comics are always fun. I must confess that I don't currently follow any of the comics that are crossing over (in the non-spiritual way) here, but it looks like a lot of fun, and nice art too.

Used Books is on page 546 today. For the first time in his life, Mike hears a little about his father's relationship with him. (Mike was a toddler when he died.) I really enjoyed drawing such a young kid … and writing his dialogue. ;)

The drawings and colouring in Rival angels is brilliant. My only critisism is that the action was a little awkward, but it looked like an incredibly difficult scene to draw, so I won't hold that against you >.>

Epic Adventures updated today with six panels! Presumably the extra two are to make up for the lateness >.>

Question: what's more scary than a Seventeenth Century galleon, crewed by blood-thirsty pirates or the doomed spirits of cursed sailors many years dead? That's right! It's a Seventeenth Century galleon crewed by the cast of Salt the Holly … Drunk!

Never less than a whole bunch of quirky fun, StH is definitely a strip to check out. But take time to get your sea-legs first!

******************************

No sea-legs required for today's instalment of Shades. No, today we're staying firmly land-locked and the story returns to Boo's estate in the East End of London where the Shaman is going to tell us some very interesting things you can do with mistletoe …

No, not that! Some other very interesting things you can do with mistletoe!

A very clever and funny way to kick off a new series. The artwork is great.

I decided to redo one of my older TLT strips because I never was happy with how it turned out… the characters looked really warped and messy. So I retooled everything so that Cassie and Matt look the way I draw them now.

The comic I altered is here, though DrunkDuck's not that good at updating images:
http://www.drunkduck.com/Times_Like_This/index.php?p=314850

If the old, sloppy version is still there, go here for the new version so you can compare and contrast:
