Shame on me for not watching British TV and missing your clever joke. But I did wiki the reference, and I'm sure the Brits will find today's page amusing indeed! I gotta say I love George, and I'm glad you're back to the “gag-a-day” stuff.

In Used Books, Mike opens up about his childhood – beginning to share what happened between the time he was the orphaned son of an assassinated politician and the time he was a thug and accomplice to a serial killer. I tried a different approach in the panel layout on this page, using sort of “snapshots” to present the flashback.

@Used Books - as always, youre good in making dialog. But I got a suggestion though: To make flashbacks, try making the lines thinner or putting a black layer over the panel and reduce the opacity to 30 just to give it a slight ‘dark’ feel on it.

Insanity Complex: Its quite new, only 2 pages on for now… It looks interesting , the humor seems very cartoony. Let's see how the comic goes…
This time both Telenime and Freakenburg are updated.
In Telenime, we have the exciting conclusion of Wonderful Cuisine, with a nasty revelation…
In Freakenburg, Kasumi's pression on Mariko worked! The dumb plan will be carried on!

Freakenburg: A cute manga style! I was obviously confused, but then again I DO need to read the rest sometime. But, overall, I liked it!
Not so much an update as a new entry into this thread (unless you're reading this on Monday, in which case - fingers crossed!). ‘Retake’ is a superhero comic that I hope turns out to be original in terms of the hero's suit's origin and his backstory. Issue 2 has just started.
Note: The hero is call Relik and, once the Retake arc is complete, he will go over to ‘Relik’ - ‘Retake’ is really just the origins arc I made before I realised that the entire Relik story wouldn't suit the name (which refers to the main character's movie career).

@Ziffy
I like the rough outlines with the flat colors. It gives your comic's style it's own personality. It would be cool if the bench and background had the same kind of linework, imo. The outlineless, 3D-looking seat sort of feels clashing to me. The dialogue is nice. It feels very casual.
EDIT – ninja'd!
@Aussie_kid
Congrats on page 150! That's a fun little extra. I hope those loose strings don't get caught up on anything and unravel what little clothing she has! (Or maybe it should. Guess that would up the fan service. XD )

Used Books is on page 550 today. Mike continues his recollections of his former friend and mentor (and said mentor's confessions and descent into madness). I followed kyupol's suggestion and shaded the flashback panels slightly to set them apart and define them better.

Pinky TA updated today. I worked ages on the colour, and even now I'm starting not to be happy with it. If I was happier with it I'd work quicker! Ah well, I got to draw sexy scantily clad female figures, a cat spirit with a monocle and a great big violet swooping dragon!
So I enjoyed all that :)

Pinky-TA has a surreal dream sequence, but the star of the show on this update is the utterly awesome dragon that graces the final panel. I'm seriously impressed with the art on that beast.

What could be more pleasing to the eye than an attractive werewolf-lady parading naked for our viewing pleasure? Why, a naked werewolf-lady taking a bath, of course!
And, as luck would have it, that's just what The Chronicles of Wyrden is offering us today, so go see. Go on; it's okay … she's not in wolf-mode just now!
*************************
Meanwhile in Shades, we learn something about the Shaman and his relationship to the Druids.
Yeah, I know. I'd rather go and see the naked werewolf-lady, too!

On Shades, it's an interesting scene here talking about who attacked Craig Allen. CA is trying to describe it to the tattooed Stone Cold Steve Austin look alike. Very intense, to be frank.

At TIMES LIKE THESE, a touching tribute to a true comic genius, George Carlin. I'm old enough to remember seeing him when he first appeared on national TV, on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour—and amazed how much he could get away with, with a national TV audience more in tune with Bob Hope than Carlin.
At CROSSOVERLORD, at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=425548, Ida of ANT takes over a three-page run on the art, everything done beautifully in a manga/anime influenced style. One of the charms of doing this is to see different artistic styles on all the characters, and I have rarely seen Mindmistress, my own character, done so well, but so differently. (And Dasien is well done too, but will REALLY stand out next update.)–Al

Shades kicks off today with more dialogue between Boo, the kid and the Shaman. Also, men without pants. I kid you not. I always find Shades a treat to read, so you should check it out if you're not already doing so.
