Is it shallow that I have a save on Prince of Persia of just before he loses his shirt so I can play just that bit when I don't feel like going through the entire game if I want to see it?

I don't see how that's shallow…me watching and looking forward to Queen's Blade even acknowledging that the writing is worse than most webcomics is shallow. -__-


I'm doing that superhero comic now and i just have to sit back and ‘Wow’ at the artists who can create those complex and powerful poses in a snap. I mean i see those comics where everyone just looks dead on the page even if the anatomy is perfect. It's usually those photo realistic comics or something like the Luna brothers, the characters seem like they're all cardboard cut-outs or whatever. (or those scenes where a character has a word balloon right to their mouth, and the mouth is closed).

ugh… I've got the flu and the shakes I got are REALLY bad this time. However, I can't contact my boss and my supervisor is telling me to come in to work tonight or else I lose my job. I don't know how that makes much sense. I just hope now that my coworkers don't catch what I have… :(

Well, I started training at an LA Boxing here in Colorado. Ended up hurting my shoulder really badly. Guess I dislocated it slightly, because today at work it cracked really hard and the pain went away a bit, plus the range of motion increased. It still hurts. One of the girls I work with (well, only “girl”, really, since everyone else is older than either of us and she's about six years younger than I am), won't let me hear the end of it. At least she's being polite and nice enough to bring me some muscle balm tomorrow at work, even though she has prior engagements she has to attend to.

On top of all of that, anyone want to just fucking kill me now? I'm so fucking over everything in my life at this point.

Ever since she sent me that mix CD last year, I've been adding them to more and more of my playlists. Normally I just pick music by song and don't pay attention to what band it is, but I started one recently and kept skipping tracks looking for something else only to realize that I made the entire thing out of Gogol Bordello.

The more I listen to the CD's she sent me, the worse I feel about only having pretty much nothing but pop-y 3rd wave ska to send back to her. In comparison, the CD I sent sucked hairy monkey ass.

So i bought fables hardback today, the cover is incredible on it's own, it's kind of a shame the art inside doesn't live up but i'm looking forward to a good read. I looked online for the cover of the one i got but it's either that black one or something else, wonder why :/

I had so much stuff to do this weekend, and I am shocked that I got everything I wanted to done. This weekend gets a B+!

Indeed, but i gotta admit this guy knows what hes doing as far as storytelling goes, the coloring and shading is just very very retro.


So my laptop randomly restarted :/ Of course i had an unsaved photoshop file of a new page all laid out and partly inked. I guess on the plus side the new layout i made is 10x better
The error said ‘bluescreen’ when i logged back in so that's got me worried. I've been meaning to get an external harddrive anyways but they're are so damn expensive. (and even acknowledging that i want to buy a more expensive red one because it matches my laptop ;—; )

I was having one of those days where my hair just wouldn't agree with me, I felt fat in everything I wore, and all that other insecure girl stuff. I think I was just really mentally run down. But I'm glad I choose to hang out with my friends, 'cause I had a great time. :]

Wow, they're pretty cheap here. Try buying one online? Online computer shops and even E-bay are a good choice for that sort of thing.

You'd think that cutting off all connections, deletion of all e-mail, pictures on my phone (even the “fun” ones), and refusal to answer any text that was sent to my phone would be clue enough to someone that I want to forget them…but no. The biggest fucking slap in the face is that she “accidently” sent me a picture of her shooting a rifle, when that was the BIGGEST point of contention between us, seeing as she hated firearms and only accepted my carrying of one because I had to being a cop. So, I ended up blocking her completely…

Of course not before old wounds opened full force. Like I needed that. This is why I refuse to allow people near me. She is the one person since high school I allowed to get close (dated for 11 months and was even thinking of asking her to marry me) and got screwed hard. She used everything, EVERYTHING, I feared and hated against me because she knew what they were.

A lot of things going on is just life, I know, but going through it and many of the other things are just extra on top of it all. At least in November I can apply to Colorado State Patrol again.

The person who said she'd bring me the balm never did, but she DID say “I can't promise I'll be able to”, so I couldn't hold anything against her. It's not like I actually expected her to, regardless. Good news is that my shoulder is feeling MUCH better now.

I don't know when I can get to my comic again…I may end it in this chapter, too. It's motivation, really. When I update, I get a lot of readers, which I feel very grateful for. Between school, work (the job I hate so much), and animations I just don't have the motivation to work on my stills.

Good thing, though, is that I'm making quite a bit of progress on “Street Fighter vs Dragonball Z: When Worlds Collide”. The only person I'm missing voice overs for is “Nakoruru”, and her computer is fried, but I can get a lot of other things done while waiting.

Time to bury myself in doing all of that so I stop thinking…thinking just keeps depressing me more. I haven't been this depressed since…well…it was a long time ago…

You know…I actually think I'm lonely…

Compared to everybody here, my problems are nothing.

I just have a really pessimistic family.

I think I'm digging this bulking thing. Even though your supposed to eat more healthy foods, I just ate a bunch of whatever foods. Which is weird, because I was used to not eating a lot. So wtf!?!

Since i made a lesbian superhero comic i'm wondering what theme to do next, Amazons? Pirates? Werewolves?

I like the idea of a pirate comic but i'd probably want it to be super short as drawing a pirate ship and scenes from that era is pretty difficult. Amazons would be easier since i'm fairly good at drawing foliage. And i need to pick up a ‘how to draw noir’ book before attempting the werewolf one.

I'm thinking some kind of journal approach to the amazon one though, maybe set it way back when too.

I am going to have the most awesome couch ever. My boss gave me an old wooden shipping pallet, that I cut in half and formed into the seat and back of the couch. The base is made up of a bunch of old plastic milk crates. It's the most awesome looking piece of furniture I think I've ever seen, and it's going to cost me less than $5 to make it. Call me weird, but I've decided to make all my furniture out of cardboard and salvaged stuff like this, and my apartment is pretty much going to look like a hobo got a grunge punk to decorate his cardboard box. It's going to being epically awesome.

Now, all I have to do is go to the hardware store and buy a few bolts to put it together. The only challenge at this point is figuring out how to get it home, 2 miles away, but I'm sure I can find someone with a car or something to help me out with it.

I've already got half the milk crate bookshelves finished. I'm just waiting on a few more to finish the rest, then I'm scrounging up some old shipping crates for a coffee table / workbench. I'm still trying to figure out how I might redo my bed and what else to add to the place to bring it all together.
