About

The comics which most influenced me came out in the late seventies through the mid-eighties. I love how Eastman and Laird did shading, how Wendy Pini used rich blacks and intricate details. I love the sense of motion in Goseki Kojima'a work and the way Guy Davis drew The Realm. I love how George Perez and Frank Miller organized their panels to tell rich stories in surprisingly few pages. I try to bring all of that into my comics and still bring my own look to things.

My stories are influenced by vintage science fiction and fantasy. I'm trying to be Edgar Rice Burrows, Robert E. Howard, Michael Moorcock, and Fritz Leiber… but in original comics with original characters.

Right now, I have the first few pages of my sword and sorcery epic up. It will grow by one page every Monday. At least one page. I promise.

But that's as fast as I can draw them. I have two sci fi stories I want to do, a teen fiction, and a dystopian super hero story all in the queue as I have the time.

Thanks for checking my work out. I welcome constructive criticism and… well… ANY kind of comments. The advantage of having work up on a site like this is meeting people in the community, eh?
