Hello there! Apologies for my long period of absence D: Works horrible, bla bla bla. Anyways, Im back to updating SM, so please look forward to more. Id really like to speed things up, because 1 page a week is still too slow ___
Currently, my work flow is like this - (spending about 3 hours a day) 2 days to sketch and layout the panels and poses, 2 days to ink and clean up, 1 day to tone and add text. Because of the lack of time, this process is sometimes stretched over 1-2 weeks.

I started reading manga nearly 15 years ago (which is I think, the age of some people here O_o. Yes, Im kinda old xD) and Candy Candy was my first manga. Its a long journey, but I hope to have my manga published some day =)
I draw mostly shoujo style, but I like to include a bit of dirt, grit and a sense of realism as well, so hopefully, you can expect some of that in my comics.
These are the two projects that Im currently working on.
TITLE: Sabbat and Maina
STATUS: Tuesdays
GENRE: Romance, Comedy, Fantasy
ABOUT: When Maina (occult expert and self proclaimed witch-hunter) sees Sabbat, the mysterious new member of her brothers band, hanging his laundry butt naked in the moonlight, she is convinced that he is a witch, and is determined to hunt him down.
Except that Sabbat is far from just a witch. In fact, he is far from anything that Maina could have possibly imagined.
A tale of a neurotic and rather lazy Demon Lord who has fallen from grace (and somehow into disgrace), and a self-proclaimed witch-hunting schoolgirl who is convinced that he is a witch and is determined to witch-hunt him down.
TITLE: Let Me Die
STATUS: Pending
GENRE: Romance, Drama, Real Life
ABOUT: Yako is a shy, awkward schoolgirl who is secretly proud of her large bust. Akatora is a violent yakuza bodyguard, in love with his male charge Masae. Yako has a huge crush on Masae, but Akatora always seems to get in the way.
How will Yako, geek extraordinaire and closet wanton, charm the big bad yakuza (with the aid of her secretly prided assets) in order to get to her precious first crush?
LMD is a mostly shoujo story about the gritty side of life, sexuality, redemption, and the strange bonds that occur between unlikely people.

Yeaaaa.haha, it's easy to get lost in smackjeeves. sooo many comics. It's okay, we used to get confused author questions all the time. Though i suppose we won't anymore. Our three seperate screennames were: apple, dubio and lude. Apple and dubio are sisters...we made the profile planning on comicking together like crazy over summer. but their dad just got transferred to a new place in his company. So theyre moving. :c Beginning of august D: So it's really just me here on this profile now. >.< All lonesome. We'll all keep comicking, just no more extended projects together anymooore. :c tee heee. c: You could always still self-publish, and sell on a slightly smaller scale. haha, competition's gonna be pretty bad at any time though, might as well just jump straight on into it. ewwwww. :c why must we work and pay biiillls?? D: Do you get to do artsy stuff at your work too?? Or is it all doom and gloom? oooh. I only have Photoshop. I've wanted to try mangastudio though. I'm assuming you have a tablet? So encouraging hearing that from yoou. haha, it's noot bad. you have other stuffs to do. Plus....doing pages takes a while. especially with full screentones and all. Do you do it all digitally? Or do you draw the pages by hand first? BUT YESH. MAKE MORE PAGES. c: so i can read your comics instead of doing homework. ew homework. I long to be out of shcooool.

Well, all of those are great! But I have two problems. One, I have the oldest Photoshop ever. It's Photoshop Elements 2.0. D: So a lot of those tones and brushes and stuff may not work for me. Secondly, I also have a sort of... Mmm.... Aversion to a lot of them because they are manufactured things that I think I should be able to draw myself. You know what I mean? Anyways, my hair, when curly, usually looks crappier than that. But it was strangely cooperative for that picture, so I'm glad. My hair has been MUCH redder than that but it's fading. I have to get it redone soon. D:

I really love both your comics so far! You are so incredibly good at manga! I have no idea how to do the clean black lines and toning... I cannot tone to save my life. At least, no one told me how to, so I just use a crappy photo-editing program to shade everything. XD Also, this is random, but choo is very pretty.

I AM an elegant orange kitty!! 8D Haha. And thanks. :3 My eyecolor changes depending on the light so they don't look like that all the time. XD It was more of a combination of direct sunlight and my camera getting the right light...if that makes sense. Is that you in your avie? :3
