Hi. My name is Rick Rudge and I’m an amateur cartoonist. I’ve done old school comix for underground newspapers, comic books and have dabbled in web comics from other web places. Now I would like to try out Drunk Duck Comics. Most of my stuff is just pen and ink on paper, but I would like to move on to digital stuff and work in color, some day. I must warn you that my comix deal with sex, drugs, and violence, so it’s meant for mature readers and no doubt isn't office safe for work viewing. All the same, I hope that you will enjoy my stuff.

I've considered putting some of these pages into print comix. Some of my comix are for Mature readers while others are strictly for Adult readers. That’s why the stories are relatively short in pages. I hope that you’ll check out the other stories below too.

Tools: Pilot Precise V7 Rolling Ball pens on 70 lb. Artist’s Loft Drawing Pad paper, an HP OfficeJet Pro MFP M127fn, a small Wacom pen tablet, and a MacBookPro using GraphicsConverter. In the later comix, I’m using the font, Digital Strip BB by Blambot.

Drako the Barbarian in Knocking the Bottom Out This is a sequel to The Red Leaves Cut. Drako is unsure of himself. Is he meant for the peaceful life of a farmer, or is his warrior instincts telling him that this is what he is truly meant to be? In the meantime, the Scythian warlord, Andre thinks that Drako is out to kill him. Knocking the Bottom Out is a sword technique from Miyamoto Musashi’s “Book of Five Rings”. The knocking the bottom out technique, is to damage your opponent severely, especially by destroying its support. Despite looking defeated, your enemy can regroup and counter-attack. So it is sometimes important to, “Knock the bottom out” of your opponent, while he is still down; especially his resources, where he gets his support. These comix (as is most of my stuff) is meant for adults only. It contain violence, drug use, sexual content and is not “Office Safe.” However, if this story is for you, I hope that you enjoy it.

TC Comix TC is a comical character that I drew many, many, many years ago. This will be more of a Gag-a-day comedy comic, but unlike my other stuff that I’ve done, I’ll try to keep this series a little more positive. This is the beginning of this Drako the Barbarian series that was originally drawn for a printed comic book in the 80s. However, it really needed to be converted to webcomics. Drako is a skilled swordsman, but can never be part of the Bushido nobility. To improve his skill, he tries to get more training from a monk who is suffering from blindness.
