I'll use any excuse to draw animals, so here's a breed of dog I've never drawn before (met a few though). My early drafts didn't have this scene, but it helps hold things together and kinda grounds the setting too.
It's mostly to contrast with my memories of blizzards shutting the world down. Schools close. Businesses close. People stay inside with those they love. But emergency workers get no breaks, and sometimes unrelated crises have the worst timing.
This week's “character feature” is Tara.

Ditto on the snow effects! And old ladies asking 'Why ain't you married yet?!' (from prev page). My RL whirlwind past few weeks I got behind on every comic it seems. I figured I'd just wait to the next update, then backread then!! So... caught up!! :D

Lol. Sorry I had no more updated update for you. Having similar time-sucking issues. I am so blissfully perpetually single. (Which makes me a huge failure in the eyes of relatives and former classmates.)

Thanks! I gotta get some practice in. It's a very snowy arc.

Love this bit of dialogue in the last panel. And her expression.

I had to move things around to fit he line, but I liked it way too much to cut or edit.

Thanks! I'm trying some new things. It's trickier than rain.
