I'm officially out of buffer. I went through over a week of crushing art block between the previous page and this one. Each day that passed, I lost more confidence and was more hesitant to touch pencil to paper. -_- It may not be the best art, but the fact that I completed it is a personal victory.

Kaida's body heat alone probably hasn't warmed the place up that much. (Although wind does make everything feel way colder.)

This is an awesome page! Both on the dialogue front and the ambiance of it. Love it how Kaida doesn't even consider there may be others roaming. Not illogically but still...

Thanks! I focus a lot on the way pairs of characters interact (rather than consistent single character behavior). Kaida can be the paranoid one, but with Mike, she dials up the "calm." Because Mike is a hot mess of anxiety.
