Cards on the table. This episode has been at least as much about defining Jack Talbott's character as anything else. When I start writing an “episode,” I first define my goals for it. No story is without purpose. It is usually a character development/definition or a plot advancement (or, most often, both).


I expect even with my slow updates I will finish up this arc in 2021, and it is the last I plan to include in my next printed volume. (Sadly, I am still irreparably blocked on my next episode. So, there may be a break while I try to repair my brain.) Getting my next book in print and somehow curing my block are my 2021 goals.
