I added the thought bubbles as an after-thought. They add something.
I had to do a bit of googling and photo-referencing for this page. Found some album covers, a skeleton, and a chess board. I thought “I want to make a chess board that lost a pawn and has a substituted piece. That should be easy to draw.” Easy to draw it was not. And it is off due to perspective, but acceptable imo.
