Well Random I only pq'd about two or three people, and they were only people who made a comment about being unsure of who to vote for or something. I can't remember. TFGM was one, of course, and yes he usually partakes in my demise when one of my schemes takes to light. Few pointers I have about this.

Firstly: It wasn't my original intent to make an Obama joke. As you could plainly see, I was merely visually depicting that wonderful smuggument which was going on between Hark and exzachly. The Smug and Smugger picture was just too good not to be used. It wouldn't have matter if it was Obama and Biden or Arnold and Stallone that were depicted on that picture.

Secondly: I haven't really noticed that many European Obama jokes to begin with. So far he's been a fairly likable president oversees. It's been criticized a bit that he got that Nobel peace price before he had managed to accomplish that much and many consider that committee should have waited until he had provided more result. He still has over 3 years in office so he still has plenty of time to prove himself so many wonder why the rush. Compared to Bush (and boy did we hate Bush) he's a breath of fresh air. In my experience most of the Obama jokes/criticism has been coming from American soil.

Thirdly: It may sound pretentious but I don't consider myself to be that European. Most Icelanders consider themselves outside of that culture. We're not part of EU (although there's a strong movement going on today that's demanding it (and an equally strong group calling the first group completely bonkers)) and have relatively strong bonds with America. The only nations we really consider ourselves to be close with are the other Scandinavian countries. Faeroe Islands are our little nephew, Norway is our close cousin, Sweden our second cousin and Denmark is that Uncle that we refuse to talk to at dinner parties.

Fourthly: actually there is no forth. I just wanted to look like I had more to say.

That's an awfully long reply to a joke about a joke, however to be more precise that was more of a quip about not this site in particular but a few others I frequent. Obama jokes posted from across the Atlantic seem to be the trend this week.
