I had a good night, but
I'm dog tired and my feet are killing me…

It's 10:30 am now, but I've only had 2 hours sleep since 5am yesterday.
I went to a friend of a friend's gallery show yesterday evening and then spent the rest of the night at a party that most of the people went to. -Talking, dancing, loud music, Lying next to an outdoor fire, listening to bad sex jokes and drinking mulled wine… etc

I left this morning, with the sunrise. Walked to the trainstation… Train said it wasn't coming for over an hour! Shiz…
I hought to myslf “I can get to the city in that time by walking!” And I did… Must have been 12 or 14 Ks. the train beat me by exactly 1 minute. But I dawdled along the way to document the walk in pics, So I would have beaten it… I'll have to put those pics in a blog or something.

they got us with that in basic. we had to dress up in our chem gear, and that's how they tested we put it on right and it was sealed. then they made us take off our mask, take a deep breath, and tell them our favorite fast food. with what on the burger, what kind of coke, etc. it was horrible. i've got a pic somewhere of me.




i have just thought up plans that will change history….

I am probably going to have to change my domain name. It's a long story but my current name, vermillionworks.com, has been lost and will probably take a long time, longer than I want to wait, for it to open up again so I can get it back.

Do you think I should just make another vermillionworks.com domain revised (I'd probably either use vermillion-works.com or vermilionworks.com; with only one ‘L’ in vermilion this time.)

….or use my name as the title? I've been considering sncomics.com, sn-art.net (yes, snart), and plain ol' sarah-nelson.com. I've considered others too but many titles with my name are taken. =/

Don't want to use vampirephantasm.com, since I host more than one comic there.

i have a passport now, but i signed up for it saying i was going to one country…i plan on visiting france next year, and i've been wondering if i need to fill out more paperwork, or if just having a passport is good enough….(american by the way, for those of you who dont know)

seventy- just having a passport is fine. The only time you need to do anything special is if you're going to visit someplace like Syria, and that's usually an application to them, not the US.

Sarah- don't use the misspelled version, that will confuse people and/or make them think you can't spell :) I'd go for one with your name in it, it is about your work after all!


My rant is that I went to bed at 3:30 and woke up with my alarm at 10, ok, but after letting the dog out went back to bed and now it's 2 and a huge chunk of my day is gone. >:[ And all my dreams from 10-2 were annoying ones involving people I don't like (and the dreams were about my not liking them) so now I am grumpy and have a headache before I've even done anything.

It was probably half that…? Whew!

I'm having one of the worst weekends ever.

So about a week ago, my Internet Explorer stopped working and kept displaying “Page Cannot be Displayed” or something like that. I disregarded and went on to Firefox after brief attempts to fix it.

Then it got worse. Internet connection itself practically stopped working Saturday, so Firefox, MSN, Steam, and whatchamacallit all went offline. I just got home from taking 6-hour SAT prep session and that's when I find out about it.
Fortunately, there was a Laptop with still working internet connection (Which I found strange), so I decided to look up there for solutions. Went on for a bit, got too tired, and decided to go to sleep.

Next day, my dad has already started reformatting the PC to see if that would solve the problem (Thankfully, I backed up most of my stuff). It booted up, the internet was working again- until my dad installed a bunch of necessary programs. Again, Firefox still worked and started looking up for solutions again. After couple of applications (One resulting to extremely close-call FUBAR), I decided to give up- when something hit me.

At that moment I found it pretty suspicious when IE stopped working right after my dad installed Antivirus program. I popped it up, looked up on its Security Settings, and alas, access with Internet Explorer had been set to Deny. What's funny is that IE was the only program on the list that wasn't set to Allow.

Soon after, I almost gave myself a concussion when I hit myself in the head with my US History textbook.

And now my IE and internet connection works like a charm. Unfortunately, reinstalling programs turned out to be a different story, since my dad didn't wipe out the C Drive during reformat. I had to manually delete the programs from Program Files and reinstall it from there. So far…

-Games and Image programs installed.
-Encountered two Blue Screen of Death. (One of them was from using NOTEPAD.)
-Currently reinstalling Steam games.
-Haven't even started on my homework, including my Lab Report.

I was hoping to get some drawings done. I feel like every time something goes too good, life decides to hit me with frustratingly annoying problems.

And I'm even tired. Why oh why?

Actually you can apparently spell vermillion with both one L and two, neither are a mispelling. But I'm only going by online dictionaries. =P

You ever suddenly started drawing your characters with wonky proportions and you don't know why? Seriously, I sketched these girls on this comic page and in all of the panels they have enormous heads and long necks. It's like I went back to my early years of art. =/

Mine is magically going down 1 a day now even though i haven't opened anything. It's at 20 now but was at 25 not long ago.


Also my fraking firefox keeps malfunctioning, it just dies after a second use upon reboot, no refresh, stop, back button etc. Just a dead browser.
And i found out this chick in my class who i thought could have been a model, actually weighed 210lb previously! :0 Hot damn, how's that for inspiration, said she lost it in a year with diet and rigorous exercise. I hope to tell my mom about her later, mom wants to lose weight but thinks it's hopeless.

So, apparently I just tanked loyally on my essay test (2 paragraphs and a bit into 3rd before biting the dust) JUST after saying, “Crush the puny essays with your superior logical reasoning.”

It's sadly ironic (Funny to note that the essay was about Oedipus Rex, which is based on irony). But screw me, I virtually wasted a weekend I needed badly thanks to internet+computer problems, and now I'm going through one hell of a depression.

…And now I realize that I have to reinstall the printer in order to print out my lab report, which is bitchingly confusing.

Why do I even bother with this? Oh yeah, because my parents would fucking kill me. But I'm rapidly losing my thoughts about going for Computer science and just going to Art College.

So my dog's left leg is messed up somehow. she's wobbly and she falls down sometimes.
I have no clue what's wrong with her the leg was a bit stiff but she didn't show pain or react when i moved/massaged it. Shit it's probably her bones….
What pissed me off yet again was my mom was trying her victim role and not helping anything, call me immature all you want mom, but i know how to think shit through in the time of need.

I wanna take my dog to a vet but i'm so afraid they'll say to put her down. the thought of any animal a family ‘loves’ being plopped onto a cold white table with people they don't know as their last moments just makes me wanna puke.

Another rant is googles searches have been really shitty for the past months, they used to always bring up the best websites, now they bring up useless crap websites and deadends.

Oh yeah well my dog already died from TWO (count em' TWO) bum legs so I win


But seriously my dog did die and I was very sad.

i have thought about changing jobs. but with free housing, extra money for food, a gaurenteed paycheck every two weeks, free education (up to a masters degree), free healthcare for me and my dependents,free gym membership, free trips to awesome (sometimes) places, and not paying taxes six months out of the year. it's kindof hard to find a job that makes the same amount of money to even begin to equal these benefits, or even get me close. i plan on staying in another six years, finish up my degree then getting out.

besides, how many discounts do you see for CSA's? not many. but i sure can find a few military discounts.
