To convince me that God exists and Jesus Christ is lord and saviour… I'd need a non-Christian source to get that proof.

If that proves to be true, I will accept Jesus Christ as lord and savior.

How about Jesus as a bodhisattva which in Mahayana Buddhism is a savior… You ain't gonna get the Trinity outside of Catholicism and Buddhism is a good non-Christian source. Look into those lost years of Jesus when he trekked off to India and never forget those sightings of orange robed bald-headed guys in the First Century AD Middle East.
Some Gnostic gospels read like Buddhist and Hindu texts.
But you might have a problem with how Jesus' life parallels that of Siddhartha Buddha and Zoroaster.
But if he's a bodhisattva that's okay!

The ice is cool and all that rain melted enough snow that I can get another few feet of snow and I'll have room to shovel. This winter I'll take anything I can get. lol!

Need ideas for my final graphic design piece… My theme is technology. I have no idea of what I should actually do for it in the way of a product. I was thinking a book or a poster… Those seem a bit shit though. Anyone else got ideas?
Draw a DS eating the Wii on the cover of the book.
Call it Mario's guide to Natural Selection.
Nonono!
Call it “hardcore”!

Get it? :)
no. no I don't.
You're prolly too young :)
probably.

but we're not hinting at 1337's age now, ARE WE?

That's a see-crit.

At least until it doesn't make me look dumb.

My dog tried to stand on solid snow and sunk to the bottom and then was scared of going on the snow to shit.

And today only guys raised their hands when a teacher asked if anyone had seen Titanic.

And other stuff.

Oh my mom made that before. :) It was really good. I prefer leeks in chicken soup more or her ham and split pea soup.

Mom wants to go to vegas for our birthdays…meh i don't know. Gambling and bars sound really un-fun to me. (and the whole trip will be around 600$)

i'm about to be old. but ozone is older, so it's cool. i can still feel young as long as he's around.

My car died. i think the engine seized. i hope not, because that's everything i have just to buy a new engine. and then to get it installed? so screwed. but i don't really know cars that well.
here's hoping.

i want the tow truck to be hit by a semi. not the cab, just the bed carrying my car. if it gets mangled beyond recognition, then i neither have to pay for a new engine, or make car payments anymore!

speaking of ebay(again) I was thinking of bidding on these cards and reading through the item description, when all the sudden there's this long ass psalm and 'ACCEPT JESUS INTO YOUR HEART TODAY", etc.

What the hell does religion have to do with japanese pokemon cards? Wtf man.

God loves a consumer. Some faiths have an obligation to put proselytizing into all their adherent's activities. Therefore psalms incongruously appear in ebay descriptions. I never scroll that far anymore I just use the link to skip to the S&H.
I was blown away that I had wasted so much time and effort on Ebay that I got my red star. One thousand plus positive feedback! Woo-hoo!

On another forum the posters are all excited about Egypt because it provides lots of close-up pics of current Egyptian military equipment. There was quite an education about the current Egyptian military to be had. They make their own M113s and M1s under license.

Ever since I decided to make my comic pages super-gigantic-huge they've taken more time to work on… I just have too much fun making things super detailed that I don't even care about anything else except making funky art. :)

Currently I am rocking the sweat stains on some guys shirts… then I'm going to put some more teeny scratches on the paintwork of my war-mecha and add some more rust around the rivets.
Man, I'd love to do matt paintings for Hollywood films. I would rock at that!

I am increasingly anti-detail.

So that's why you don't make any comics, you went the whole hog and stopped doing ANY detail.

Happy news! Now I'm only one book behind my favourite manga. Except the fact that next release is scheduled in March….and there are like 5-7 books left if I'm not being fooled -_-* Stuff is cheaper and more entertaining than heroin though ;)

Oh irony. The age topic is the same as “the grass is greener”
I want the best of both worlds, money making without responsibility, drinking without breaking the law, having a house car etc, with no worries.

—-

so the car is Hydro locked. a tube busted, the oil spilled into the combustion chamber, and then when the pistons couldn't compress, they froze up.

according to wikipedia, since this happened at idle, there shouldn't be too much damage. not as bad as i was preparing for, but more than i want to fix.

I dunno, I'm young and I still feel like I have plenty of worries. (But I think that's mostly my personality over things I actually have to worry about.)
Maybe retirement is what you're looking for?

I joke that I'm retired and living the life I want to. Then I have nights like tonight when, while drinking with a volunteer that helped me start a zine a few years back, I got curious and did some math: based on the average time it took per page for my latest completed project, and how many pages I'd completed, it came to about 240 hours in 6 weeks. So… 40 hours a week? Plus the part time job that actually pays… geez. My retirement has a 60-70 hour work week…

So you're Seventy3 then?

- - - - -

I think I'm crazy. My plan is to do 50 pages of b/w comics within this month while at the same time I color the remaining 6 pages (actually, only 5 to go now, one is done) and I'm attempting to sort out something like fifty conflicting storyline/timeline versions for a huge project I want to finally draw.

Except I don't know whether this one will make its way to DD or not (since it's not that chapter friendly as I'd like it to be. More likely I'll be looking for a solution similar to various manga readers that are/were used on scanlation sites. Perfect for chapter releases!
