@Doctor Shadow: I'm a sucker for good black&white comics, and that's some nice shading you got there! No idea what's going on in the story, I'll have to give it a read sometime.

There is a lot of seriously strange goings on in Monkeyshine, but it seems like these new characters are going to shed some light on things (though I doubt we will ever get an explanation for what happened to Joels hair!)
And my answer in the contest was 17 *crosses fingers because I like fan art!*

Ryu's Crew: Beautiful tones - the artwork is very dramatic with the deep shading but its balanced out by the brighter areas. The limited red is very effective, too. Great character and setting designs.

Oh, wow… In Asshole, we got all the ingredients for a twisted, evil Mastercard commercial. LOL. I am afraid of the waiter, I swear I saw a guy like him earlier today…

Well, gotta tell you that Freakenburg and White Versus Gray were updated.

In Freakenburg, Kasumi tells one of those awful truths about life, while Mariko disagrees…

In White Versus Gray, a naked chick and an introduction to our heroes as the duty calls… Definitively offensive, LOL… Oh, it is a double update.

Gotta go, see ya

Okay, I've updated my comics a lot lately, so what can I say about them… The latest A* is a series of panning shots, kind of, with (what will eventually be) zooming out and back in, so hopefully that comes across in the non-animated daily comics a little. The latest Princess has what I think is my most “realistic” try at the Princess' face, and I think her eye came out decently, except maybe for the freakishly high eyebrow!

freakenburger:

Freakenburg: the nap *was* a little boring :D but your logo, while utilizing an overused joke, is still freakin' awesome

White Versus Gray: the hats! Oh god, the hats are amazing!

The Princess and the Giant: Excellent contrast in character designs between the crews of the two ships.

Supermassive Black Hole A*: Excellent use of white on black. Kind of remeniscent of Frank Miller's art style. The story looks like it's about to get interesting very soon.

Last week The Chronicles of Wyrden introduced us to a guy that collects eyeballs. Eeeew! What could possibly be worse than that, eh?

Well, there's what happens to the eyeball collector for a start …! Go see (if your stomach's strong enough!)

Also in considerable pain is Arturos, the latest character to join the cast of Shades.

Apparently he needs a sword to alleviate his suffering so, if you've got one, please do go and give him a hand. Of course, if you haven't got one, you can still go and read the page anyway. Arturos is one of our favourite characters, so you're bound to want to catch him making his first appearance!

Some very nice backgrounds there on QUEST—even if some of the figures on some of the last panels are strangely flattened or thinned.

In the CROSSOVERLORD, Remus does the art chores as Smiley takes our group on a little trip—and the depths of the Green Avenger's trance is shown. That's at

So, killing the same person in multiple realities makes one a serial killer. Interesting… That transporting device makes me think of a carnival ride. Yes, keep your arms and legs inside. Wheee!
