Rokan Can't Draw Comics - I can't comment on the art, the writing isn't bad if you're into that kind of comic - sadly, I'm not, however I can appreciate decent writing.

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and Jakul is looking to dig himself deeper and deeper.

Docta - I checked out a few pages, and the story definitely looks interesting enough to try out from the beginning. What really caught my attention though was your ability to make a sketchy-type style look so sophisticated! Especially here, I love all the shreds being ripped apart.

I just updated I Fell Down the Stairs for today, and it's basically a Happy Labor Day affair.

I've never drawn one before, so it was kinda fun.
you know why birds don't write their memoirs? because birds don't lead epic lives, that's why. who'd want to read what a bird does? nobody. that's who.

I Fell Down The Stairs: I could never understand that “White after Labor Day” crap either.

Negligence updates today at the cult support group (the other kid is not Drannik's half brother, by the way)

Also, I redesigned my page (it took several hours to do because I'm not as verse with HTML as I used to be). Tell me what you think, and if I should have some improvements.

To be honest, I can't remember the previous layout for Negligence, so I can't really comment on any changes. It looks good to me, the only thing I'd change is the red around the comment boxes. It's kind of glaring, and there doesn't seem to be a reason for it - I'd go with the same blue as the “Meet the Cast” info box for everything if I were you. Oh, and it would probably look better if there was a gap between the title banner and those finger-pointing icons. But those are both minor things, really.

Bulletproof is goin' to the mall today. Nothing happens, but Whiplash's wearing a tube top, so… yeah.

Hooray! Bulletproof is back!

Okay, technically it came back last week but I missed it. If you don't remember Bulletproof from before it took a short break, go check it out now. Excellent B&W artwork with some very human characters doing the best they can with their very superhuman powers. If you do remember it, well, you don't really need me to tell you, do you?!

*****************

Meanwhile in Shades we reach the end of Chapter 13, and - not a moment too soon - Arturos is finally reunited with his sword.

So why is it that Boudicca seems to think that's not entirely a good thing …?!

Lol, funny strips. Like the drawings and colour too.

My main, and for now only, character goes through a mental block and makes himself a true Italian coffee. Will it help him? We'll see. Meanwhile enjoy watching him prepare coffee like a true master. http://www.drunkduck.com/Lets_Go/

@ Blood Reign - I always love Tim Tyler's inks! Amazing stuff! And that guy does look sweaty, doesn't he? I suppose if something went BOOM! nearby and I was trying to cover it up or deny plausibility, I'd try and close down shop early, too! lol!

Mighty Dreadful Multi-Colored Shapeshifting Warriors debuts today! I actually had the original idea for this Power Rangers parody in 1996 but it's finally come due for a re-imagining. You may also find a familiar face (or two) from the Drunk Duck community in this comic – as regular cast!

I decided to do the writing and art chores on this one, which is why it's in black and white pencils (oh, the irony-!).

Excellent page. TTyler's artwork is amazing. I think I've found a new comic to get into.

After an unexpected month-long break. HOW UNFORTUNATE returns. In this page, we see the end result of Lashout being owned (or pwned).

Hey, GREAT! A superhero webcomic I didn't know about. HOW UNFORTUNATE had excellent art and I immediately began going through the archives…

In the CROSSOVERLORD, at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=609454 Mindmistress, who almost turned down this mission, finds she really has a personal reason to go after the Smiling Man in one of our creepiest segments EVER.—Al
Al Schroeder of MINDMISTRESS http://mindmistress.comicgenesis.com—think the superhero genre is mined out?

Think there are no new superhero ideas?

The Crossoverlord: Very nice job with this page. I could almost feel the character's emotions. The close-ups you did worked amazingly. Really got that whole, creepish feeling going on. Keep up the good work!

Today in Ryu's Krew, we learn a bit more about the whereabouts of the Witch, and Mission 1 officially starts.

Hey folks, I got skipped! Could someone back up and take a look at Mighty Dreadful Multi-Colored Shapeshifting Warriors, which debuted today? Or was that non-specific comment from alschroeder before he fully commented on How Unfortunate supposed to cover it? C'mon, people…

I'll do double duty!

@MDMCSW:
Nice drawing work! I like the expression in the last panel. Looks like a good start to the story. :)

@Ryu's Krew:
I like the tiny bits of red you threw in there! And: “Und34d”. lol!

Meanwhile, over at the Hub:
A shocking twist! Or maybe not. Ya never know with those “unreliable narrator” type of characters.

Hah! I'm from WV. Lovely state – most of it. There are some, um, characters there. Apparently some of them get dropped off at The Hub. (I wouldn't be surprised if some of them came *from* it. Heh.) So, I enjoyed this apparent twist. Btw, he does talk like a guy straight from the “holler.” Not much for current events.

Still in a flashback in Used Books. We join Kaida on a hit. Her assignment is her young ex-husband. Could this mission be too close for comfort?

I think the coloring got more dynamic in Crossing Death since the last time I checked the comic. Looking very nice and sharp, with some bright and expressive coloring!

@ Negligence - Very cute! He thought he heard…him! *cue melodramatic music* Now I've gotta check back next time! This comic's style is starting to really warm me to it – good job!

Mighty Dreadful Multi-Colored Shapeshifting Warriors updated today! And no, it's not an attack of the bunnies – but don't tell Warrior Red that…

Actually, the Dreadquarters is on full alert, because one of their own is *cue dramatic music* coming home! (Follow up to the dramatic debut page yesterday. C'mon, you know you wanna go check it out – it's fun!)

Not only that, I even parodied Cute Overload in the first panel… o_0

Even a dog lover would have to be at least a little scared of a creature like that. Heck, even a little coyote intimidates me, and they usually leave your soul alone.
