Dead Fingers is YET another one of my TO CHECK list :) Absolutely love the colors - the sepias and the purples. Plus, you can't go wrong with a title like that! Except it's begging for a Saw-style logo, with letters made of… well… dead fingers ;)

A Bit Cheesy updated today:

That's “Salvation Army Strong.” ;) Seriously, I did the crayons (or colored pencils?). Crayons make me happy. I love to see non-digital media of any kind – even if it is archival.

I got creative with the layout of the Used Books update today. It's a quiet, moonlit night on the river. Nice, no?

Compelling stuff there. The blurred borders are a nice touch to the drama.

George the Dragon updated today. Still no sign of the big green guy, but things are starting to get very PINK. :)
Find out what George is up to:

As I had commented on the actual comic page for George the Dragon, I had been missing out on reading this for some time. I finally caught up and am still smiling from the storyline and visuals. :D Check this comic out if you have not yet.

I wish you had a link to inner fear in your signature!

After reading the first page… and then a couple more pages, I have to say I like how you try to make your characters a part of the background. In most webcomics (and I fear to say MY OWN) backgrounds usually end up as little objects to hint at where a character is or the characters are just talking heads in an empty void. Kudos on putting in that extra work!

New Glimmer. It shows her birth… kind of. She's just a little baby sitting in a field as wild animals convene around her.

Glimmers's last page entry is pretty cool in it's montage like layout. I applaud your usage of watercolours in your work. I love the medium myself but haven't made the effort to put it to any good use, unlike you. :)

Pagan Zoetrope I love the strip, the characters and the pacing. But coffee to the crotch is definitely one of the highlights this time!

Blood Reign and Devil Jack is looking superb as usual. The latest pages of this comic just confirm what I've said many times before - Tim's artwork is among the best anywhere (print or web!)

And it's exciting, too. And funny. Damn, people, how much more do you want from a comic?!

******************************

The latest instalment of Shades sets up two new sequences. In one, we look in on our tempestuous teen, Ryan, who is about to get some very sage advice from WW2 fighter pilot, Doug. Now what could they possibly have to say to each other? Oooh, you'd be surprised!

Plus, we get to see our warrior queen, Boudicca, about to have a chat with two soldiers. You know … the type of chat that's likely to result in a few very nasty cuts and bruises!

Boudica (or Boadicea if you are a roman) is queen of all the Britains (since she is not dead in this comic, she is technically still queen, right?)! Those two soldiers should show some respect to the soveriegn!
The soldiers say shes bloody mental? Compared to Prince Philip she seems positively reasonable!
Basically, we've got an ancient warrrior queen driving around london in car with horses on the front, carrying a spear. Whats not to like about this?
Rule Britannia I say!

@ Harkovast - I like the clean coloring and the thin lines, it really works for the style. Nice action shot in the 3rd panel, good lighting and perspective.

Off Hours updated today with some action, too! The rock ape is on the attack! How will our actors/heroes survive in this alien environment – and is this the same comic?? lol!

Pencils by Artdude2002 (Danielle Dark) with background pencils, inks, colors and script by me (Allen of Due East). Fun stuff today, come see! B)

WWE the comic…actually, the photography is very good, especially in the last scene, you almost forget it's a model of a wrestling figure.

In the CROSSOVERLORD, we discuss art vs. forced joy/hilarity, as we visit the Smiling Man's world and his ally, Hooli, at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=494887

Also you might want to suggest a name—chances are we'll use it in the webcomicsnation mirror site's logo, and provide a link to your comic. Go to this form thread at http://www.drunkduck.com/community/view_topic.php?cid=3334&tid=46006&comic_id=26888

I couldn't begin to say anything more about the Crossoverlord than to go and read it, but in the context of this last page entry, it's pretty cool, especially the backgrounds! I don't know that I could ever do a comic in this fashion as to the facts of keeping continuity and vision on a united level. That would be very hard. But The Crossoverlord does it very well.

I loved the “designated alien areas” gag in Times Like This. Looking forward to going back through the archives and reading through!

Breaking the Ice just updated. It's a transition-type strip this week. Mick's grandparents have invited his new girlfriend over to dinner. If you're looking for a quirky, character driven (and funny!) comic strip, this is one to check out!

Such language today in both your comics! My poor sensitive psyche. :X I think the little blue critter in PSS should take on the wrestlers in your other comic. Actually, your comics are just ripe for crossover…

My brother thinks the lighting in today's update of Used Books is some of my best work to date. I'm actually quite proud of the coloring myself. Not exactly professional art or anything but a personal triumph. The plot development is also rather interesting, so please have a look.

Blood Reign and Devil Jack - It's hard to compliment just one thing with Tim's work. If you've read Engine and Tim's other comics then this is no exception, BR&DJ has all the hallmarks I've come to expect from a ttyler comic. An incredible sense of detail, quirky humour and dynamic action.

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today with some more pillow talk.
