Salt the Holly: I think the no dialogue works really well here. It's almost like an establishing shot in a movie. Very cinematic.

Breaking the Ice
updates with a little dissertation on how men see themselves in the dating world and how we really are :)

@SalttheHolly
While in a book, silent pages are sometimes rushed through, in a webcomic, they can be the most powerful and intriguing. This page is especially intriguing because the intrepid (though accidental) explorers have come to dock in an unknown land. While it seems to be inhabited by surfers and therefore some form of civilization with time for leisure endeavors, one can't help but wonder what this town is like and whether they will be welcome (especially considering the pirates, ninjas, and, um ballerinas they've had to contest with in the past…)

EDIT:

Ack! My timing is awful. Lol. I was beaten again.

@Breaking the Ice
Hehe. So true. The less realist women have their own view of things too. Usually involving chivalry and courting, flowers, gifts, etc. (Sort of the opposite of this man-tasy. XD) I suppose it's different for everyone. I think people need to go for the more outlandish stuff now and then. It might get you slapped, but at least it would be fun.

The reason you should check out the latest update of Used Books is a thumb, yes a thumb. It's a thumb I'm particularly proud of, artistically. No, the thumb isn't the topic of the page, but it is the thing I am most fond of. There's also some interesting plot development and a quip from a man under stress from his pregnant wife – but you should check it out for the thumb.

Used Books: By all means, people, enjoy the thumb! I don't think I've gotten to say yet how awesome UB is in full color - I've told you before how I love the noir shading, but everything in color works so well!

BLOOD GROOVE updates again today with our farewell to Zoo - alas, we hardly knew ye! BUT WAIT-!

Blood Groove: Ok, I haven't read this comic, but I'm guessing Zoo is a beloved character to the fans of the series. This comic is pretty good actually. I feel jealous because you know how to shade and I don't… :(

Liking the drama that is unfolding in WWE the Comic. You script it really closely to how the stuff plays out on TV.

Druchii, like the minimalist style you are going for. Reminds me of a indie small time comic called “The Village” by a local artist in Vancouver, Ken Boesem. I tried to find an online version for you but couldn't find it… :(

It's a bear versus zombies! That's about as awesome as it gets! I love the art style! The bear looks cute, but at the same time he's a deadly zombie killing machine!

As for my comic, Bob the Alien: It's on a daily update schedule at the moment! And in today's update you get to witness Bob taking his anger out on a human…in a strange way.

@ttyler - Really nice page; it looks pro. I like the way you use greyscale. The detail in the first panel is phenominal, and I like the woman's expression in the last panel as well as the smoke. “Don't even ask me about the chick in red” that made me laugh. XD

And also, belated congrats on the feature!

Mmmmm… I want the blue ones! M&M's are one of the only candies where color makes no difference to me. I've been told the candy coating are different flavors, but I don't believe it. Really, it's the chocolate the matters.
