Ugh…Windows 7 is like a scrappy operating system.
“HEY CHECK THIS FEATURE OUT, IT'S ANNOYING AS HELL, ISN'T IT? WANNA DISABLE IT? Too bad that's impossible :D”

Seriously, Vista was better than this. Like the lesser of two evils.

EDIT: It just magically disabled itself, then enabled itself again. -.-
Vista is the lesser of the two evils O.O Windows can get worse?! Its a sign of the end of days.

I heard it was a lot better. In fact, Crocty's post is the first complaint I've heard. It's a refreshing change of pace after ‘WINDOWS 7 IS PERFECT MORE COCK TO SUCK PLEASE!’
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

It's not really that bad, it's just got a lot of annoying features that are either impossible to turn off, or really complicated to turn off. I finally figure out what was wrong.
So far it hasn't crashed or anything, so that's cool, but right now Windows 7 has a 3/39 on the Cool-o-meter.

Oh, no Windows Media Player toolbar either =(

Yay, now windows are highlighting colours when I mouseover them. They stay like that after I move my mouse. Why? Why, Windows 7? WHY.

It's not really a bad system, it's just that the small features in it are annoying.
1/39, Windows 7.
I'm not really around much anymore, but here's my Tumblr, Twitter, and Deviantart. Also if you remember me from back when I was around, I'm sorry.

I don't plan on touching Windows 7 ‘til the bugs are worked out. You never know what kinds of problems will show up on your shiny new operating system. So I’m happy I never bought that other windows to come out after XP with all the problems I've heard about it (plus its unstable support of DarkBASIC Pro).

I hope the Phils sweep the floor with the Yankees again tonight. The New York fans are being so smug with their celebrity filled audience. Our crazy ass Phillies fans are probably keying their limos as I type.

Man, i went from feeling really good and confident about my exam to feeling like crap when i got a gateway timeout(apparently the school website has scheduled downtimes.) There's a chance it got sent and i cant retake, i emailed my teacher about it anyhow.

I have an even longer and more difficult test coming up in 5 days so i can't dwell on it long. Which sucks since when i have a lot of responsibilities looming i tend to want to do comics, write, play video games with friends or what have you ('escape' i guess)

A short halloween comic wouldn't be that bad though.. >_>

Why is that when anyone is nice to me, I'm immediately suspicious of them and their motives?

Hall mate: ‘Hey, I made too much chilli, help yourself if you want some!’

Me: ‘WHAT KIND OF HORRIBLE SCHEME IS HE PLANNING!?’

Am I seriously so used to being fucked around by people that I can't comprehend the idea of genuine friendliness?

Am I just even more screwed up than I thought I was?

I finally get Hall mates who aren't raging arseholes and all I do is make them raging arseholes in my head, my god I'm a terrible person. I was feeling so good until the bastard went and offered me food. WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE NICE TO ME, YOU BASTARD?
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

No. You're just using a defense mechanism that activates whenever you're treated with kindness since most of the time (as you say), such acts of kindness lead you to bad consequences of one kind or another.

Cooking my meal for the day has got me wondering… Why in the heck is the dish I'm making named after an 80s boy band??? The name of the dish? “Menudo”…

so there i was…and the world was crashing down. when i realized. Zombies. so i go on a journey (no clue where to) to seek shelter, and the ragtag group of people i pick up are random people that are in my life. after battling zombies here and there, we set up shop in a school…thick windows, thick doors, and sections that can be closed off. and then a zombie gets in.i go to kill it, turns out, you have to shoot them twice in the head. i run to my grandfather to get his guns, and then i see it. there is one of my old high school buddies colluding with the zombies, just opening doors for them, they couldn't open themselves….but they're not eating him…

they get my grandpa, and my grandma goes running after him. dead. both are now dead. i grab an automatic weapon, and spray down a line of them…then i woke up.

Nice to you? What about looking at you? You happen to step somewhere and everyone within ten feet looks up like you're going to hug or fight. Why are you looking at me? I don't want to look at you.

What about people walking really close to you? I'm sitting down smoking on a bench and you have easily 10-25 feet to avoid me. Why are you walking so close that I need to gesture back so that you don't get burned by the ember? Seriously, we could not interact. It would only take you not swaying, literally toward me. You could just walk by.

It's misanthropy. If we had bad intent we would be bad people but, myself, I want everyone to be happy and leave me alone. I'm a well wisher. If someone happens to move within my field of vision, they'd have to be pretty interesting for me to scrutinize and if an individual takes a momentary break, I want to stay far enough to allow them their peace. What is with this desperation to wander toward the nearest thing you can speak with?

The worst thing is when they say hello as you pass by, since everyone knows that ‘hello’ really means ‘what are you doing here, you barely human turd? Crawl back into your cave where you aren’t dragging the average of non-worthlessness of the entire world down by a full fifteen percent'.

I couldn't tell you if were taking the piss or not.

This guy-!! Is it a boy? or a girl?
To say it's a guy… he seems too feminine (the face ONLY)
but to say it's a girl…. SHE'S PERFECT!!!

With a hotter face than a celebrity,
a tall body… (long legs),
and a TOTALLY FLAT(??) CHEST,
The ‘FEMALE’ WOLF is HERE!!
I am so sick of manga where the guy that dresses like/becomes a girl is suddenly ‘perfect’. I've seen enough Asian musicians to know the testosterone over there must be magically seeping away by the metric tons but i wish this plot gimmick would die. (in a fire, with all the furries)

I have 4 days to cram in 5 long chapters of work for a difficult test on tuesday, good news is my study guide doesn't leave much out, bad news is it's long and not open book. Ugh here goes nothin

In your case… possibly. ^_^

Poor Trout. Being antisocial is great fun, yeah, but in the end you find you often need people for various reasons so it doesn't pay off in the long run.
Whatever. you be how you want, if it suits you better that way. :)

It's Saturday today. Saturday is good! Friday was half crap. Friday is always half crap now. For some reason all the worst little disasters at work always happen on Friday. All the little and big things that go wrong that would normally ruin a whole day and possibly the rest of the week happen on that day, every week for me, but because it IS Friday I let it all pass and enjoy the day anyway because I know it's the end of the working week. It's a nice system I suppose. ^__^

What the Christ? FUN? Yeah it's real fun, you fucking dickwipe. I love being a maladjusted mess of a human being. It's fucking great, you should try it sometime and see how fucking fun it is.

Seriously, what the hell? ‘Be how I want’? Fuck, if I knew it was as easy as simply wanting to be less of a worthless piece of shit, guess I was wasting my time with all that socialising and going outside and working hard. Thanks for that fucking pearl of wisdom.

That is absolutely the worst thing you've ever said. I'm not joking this time, you might as well have just hacked off my balls with a rusty fucking chisel.

I wasn't being mean at all. I was being absolutely 100% honest and friendly to him. Being antisocial that way is normal, when I was younger I was often exactly that way myself, which is why I said that. I say “be how you want to be” because I wasn't being preachy, that's him, only he can change himself from being that way. That's pretty obvious, and what I was saying by that is “don't change if you don't want to”.

But with his reaction to me…? It's just a symptom of the general antisocial stuff he's complaining about, not what I said. -_-

I don't need to justify myself every single time when insecure angry people make themselves offended over irrelevant things. Perhaps what's needed is to take a few breaths, turn off the computer and think about something else for a while.

I dunno. Maybe it's a cultural divide? Not everything means the same things in different countries. Australians have a way of speaking and interacting that's rather different to Americans and British people, even though the same language is used. -words have different connotations and there's no way to make that translate directly.

Probably. That's why so many Americans feel so tense and oppressed on these boards.

stuff
That's interesting. I could throw in my two cents into the subject and say that where I live, people generally keep to themselves under normal circumstances, preferring not to make eye contact with strangers or greet them. It irks me when I'm in the states and people are unusually open and friendly. It always rubbed of as “phony” to me.
However, put my countrymen in a hut tub or give them a beer and they open up in two seconds flat.
It's also culturally hardwired into everyone that you have to help those who are in trouble. Therefore 10 people would normally rush in to break up a fight and cars stop to help change someone's tire. I understand that such behaviors are usually frowned upon in the US.

Culture is fun.

I myself prefer being helpful but only if the person needs the help. Otherwise, why the hell should I be friendly towards someone I don't know?
Those were my two cents.

What is relevant/irrelevant to another person is not for you to decide.

Perhaps next time angry insecure people make themselves offended over something you said, perhaps you could take a few breaths, turn off the computer and think about not being an internet meglomaniac for a while.

It's not so much that it's frowned upon as it is you're likely to get sued for it. America used to be quite a helpful place untl good samaritans started getting legally punished by spruious claims of injustice, emotional harm, and lacking the skill to help properly. People are just afraid to help others now.

Ok scarf, “meglomaniac” eh? If it was someone else other than me who'd posted that would you still level the same accusation? More and more the yellow box under my nick is license for abuse and extra criticism.
I'm a normal comic posting user here like everyone else and neither deserve nor appreciate open aggression directed towards me, whatever the perceived provocation. No one on this forum does.

I won't say anything more on the matter and I won't be posting anything more in the forums for a while except as pertains to my administration responsibilities.
