Hmm… How do I start…?
Well, first off, I am Nako. I live in the Philippines. I'm currently 20 21 going 22 years old, supposed to be in 3rd year college, but I'm back in 1st year since I shifted courses and I'm 3rd year again. I'm such a bad person… TT~TT
I started drawing comics when I was in 4th year high school, but my ideas go way back in grade school. I wanted to write stories, but I often ran out of words and so my interest shifted to the more visual medium of comics.
At first, I made a site of my own, but since not many people visit it, I turned to webcomic hosting sites. My first “real” comic, Half-Half is posted in 4 sites: DeviantART, MyOtaku, Smack Jeeves, and DrunkDuck. MyOtaku and DrunkDuck have the most recent pages, but it's in hiatus and I don't know if I'll continue it…
I have other comics, which you can see on the right bottom of this profile. I'm putting the most effort into Cat and the Comp now, although it doesn't update often. I might be updating Cat and the Comp soon with more computer-related misadventures soon. (Or maybe, I'm putting my efforts into Fightsplosion Legends, which is not started by me but by draxenn… Oh well…)
Where did I get the name Nako? Well, in my school, there's this anime and manga lovers' organization. I applied for it (and failed, since I don't work as hard as I should…), and since there's already someone named Hanna (but actually my name is Hannah), I decided to change my nickname. Nako comes from Hana, which is how my name is spelled in Romaji, and neko, which means cat.
Random stuff about me:
- I like zombies… I don't know why…
- I daydream more than I draw…
- I can't stick to one idea for long…
- I can't draw fanart and decent buildings/vehicles/other mechanical stuff even if my life depended on it…
