That would be two of the creators of Some Town, Holly Keller and Jenny Bousquet... They used to perform together under the name Pinky Lee.

thanks a lot! the comparison to fleischer is high praise by any standard! I only hope the actual cartoon is as successful at capturing the feel of one of those 30's shorts :-) On my blog I've got a sneak peek of more of what I'm doing: http://justforspite.blogspot.com/

thanks for the advice RE: resizing the comics pages. :-) there is a method to my madness tho... Any smaller and some of the details and text are illegible or lost. I could probably just break it up into separate comics, but I conceived the series as a complete comics page, so i prefer not to break it down... :-/

Hi! Thanks ^_^. I don't know really, because it's not something I've ever actively thought about. I'm a mega fan of Grim Fandango, and I follow One Piece so it might be that I've picked up on that. Part of it is that I can't draw perspective. I like African masks, and textiles from ancient Greece/the Celts etc, so I tried to build patterns into everything, and make it more like layered 2D than 3D reality. I also like Dali and Picasso, and anything surreal or grotesque. I hope that helps! When's the next update due ^_^?

Your life story moved me emotionally. Though you forgot to explain when you went to medical school and contracted a contagious disease in order to earn your title.
