due to some members being flamers over at the new T.D. and also outside of that board, i set all accounts to admin approve first. Since i hadn't been recieving emails about accounts needing approved, i figured arashi, or one of the other moderators had been doing it. but apparently, i'm the only person who can approve. and emails aren't sent out to approving officials. i need to work on that. sigh, another busy saturday.

also, i wanna go see dark knight. but not alone.

There are a few things that bother me a lot about this site
1 no one EVER wries back when you have an issue with this site like avatar problems or glitches of any type
2 I dont know about you guys but the mother$#@#@%g ads are getting out of control like redirecting road blocks to this site. Its getting almost as bad as a porn site.I understand ads but pop ups and re-directs.shame on you platnum studios for making a great site and a great experence cheap and annoying!

We tried to write back about avatar problems, but it got too much and for some reason very few people would read the sticked threads we had about it… Anyway, that's all fixed now-
The file size of your's is a bit too big btw. ;)

Please report and describe all problems with the redirect ads here:

LINK

-So that we can get that sorted.
Plat doesn't run the ads directly, so isn't always directly at fault. Advertisers can be evil…

I guess here's the best place to get this off my chest. Damn neo-feminists! (what I'll call the fanatical man-hating women out there, since I'm not sure what they should be called other than trolls (the internet trolls, not the hide under bridge trolls)) I'm talking the ones who don't believe a man can sympathize with feminists. Just… I don't know what to say. Why do people hate other people so much, just because of race/sex/gender/etc. *cry*

Dammit, this headache keeps coming back… I kills it with pills and it slinks back in again to irritate me, threatening to get worse and worse… that's 3 days it's been doing that. It's a mild one most of the time and it does actually go away when I take some good pills for it (thank the gods), but I just wish it would STAY away!

Have you been to have it checked out? I don't want to worry you, but my aunty had constant headaches and then discovered she had a brain haemmorage.

Although, I'm not sure how that WOULDN'T worry you, but at least it'll make you get it checked out, right?

…Right?

I feel your pain. I'm going through this right now. I've appointments to see two neurologists, a cardiologist, get a brain MRI, glucose tolerance test and so much else. In the meantime pills knock out the pain but not the nausea, extreme dizziness (I have to walk with a cane these days or I fall over) and sensitivity to light and sound. Needless to say I'm not working or driving. :(

(Insert frustrated profanity here)

The last episode of Avatar left me feeling empty…my favorite character was left broken, insane, and alone. First time I've ever felt so sad for a cartoon character…a well fleshed out one but a cartoon character none the less.

Also i've started cutting off things that have a negative influence on me, people, websites and what-not. i'm actually starting to feel happier and calmer, should have done it sooner. :o

I was hoping for more drama from the Avatar episode. It felt more like a big Zuko-Katara shipping episode to me.

I got a commission I have to do. I was kinda ticked that paypal swiped a good percentage off of the money I received. I don't think I can make enough for a business account.

I'm starting to come back to DD commenting these last few weeks after several months of being frustrated that my question comments were being ignored.

Also kinda sad that some of my favorite artists that I respected have left DD this year.

Yeah but it's one of the best animations on tv to come from america right now…
it's got an interesting concept. what's with you assuming cartoons are for kids when your on a comic site and they say the same thing about that?

Amen to that.

Cartoons can be for people of any age.
Same with comics.

Avatar isn't exactly directed at just little kids. It's a broad range of people really.

Even I like Avatar. *And I'm younger than most of you here…I think…*

But still. Great show. Definitely one of the best ones around.

As for my rant…

I'm doing very horrible in Halo 3 online lately…so I think I gave up on that…
My hormones are raging. Which makes me want to see beautiful women. A lot.
lmao.

And, my comic is coming along very slowly.

I didn't mean that I think all cartoons are for kids. I just thought that particular one was aimed at a younger audience.
And of course I don't think comics are only for kids. :)

I was really mean to everyone yesterday. As I recall, I felt like crap – headaches and stomach aches and restlessness, but I feel so bad for lashing out at people. I fear the PMS got me. -_- Now, I must either apologize or hope everyone has forgotten.

I hope this ‘The ending of Avatar’ stuff goes away soon because I've only seen the first season and something's gonna get ruined for me. :[

I'd watch the others but they aren't out here in the UK yet, and although I could buy the DVDs and have them shipped, or buy them on iTunes… I don't like it enough to pay for it, haha :) I just gotta wait for the dvds to come out here I guess…. annoying because for some incredibly stupid reason the DVDs seem to be coming out here one at a time instead of in sets. There seems to be a serious lack of jobs paying more that $7.50 an hour here, and that's barely above minimum wage. I've been searching for ages and haven't come up with anything better than the job I've got, and now since I'm leaving for school in a month I'm pretty much just going to give up on it till next summer. I just really need a better paying job to balance my debt load. I'm only on my second year of school and already $20,000 in debt.

And the insurance company says they're only going to cover the tires that the asshole down the block shot out on the 4th not the damage to the front bumper that my neighbor caused when she backed into it because the car that hit mine wasn't insured. I'm not sure how she's even got a driver's license, considering I don't think I've ever seen her speak, read or write English and she only immigrated from Korea like a year ago. Granted it's just a little dent, but I'm trying to keep that car in perfect condition so I can sell it when I move.

If it's not stomach and eye problems (which I still have) it's something else. >_> Lately my arm has been very tingly, particularly in the area where the top and bottom part of my arm meets in the middle, inside that crease. It also can be sore, but very slightly, though sometimes I'll suddenly get a weird shooting pain through my entire arm. Just recently it seems the tingling has moved to several different places on the entire left side of me!

I'm assuming this is from too much computer work, maybe some sort of nerve thing; bending my arm weird and drawing with it constantly. I am getting sick of all these damn little painful quirks though. XO

That's exactly what i felt- luckily there a three movies planned to come out in 09, explain some of our questions.

The creators want to make avatar their harry potter- and i think they can. :) There's only one thing i want to see in the movies though:

And then i remember her age is 14 ;—;

Nobody is going to wait to hear your commercial. Nobody who is allowed to use something as sharp as a credit card is going to be fooled into thinking they called you.

What a strategy, shove yourself into your customers face, then ingore them from ‘hello’.

So we had yet another massive storm with tornado force winds and lightening here in the Midwest. And that would normally be nothing special for me, just another slightly busier day at work, except for one thing: The lightening caused a power surge which burned straight through the surge protector I had ( Which wasn't as good of one as I probably should have had for such an important computer. ) when the computer activated itself to do it's nightly file cleanup and virus scan ( I don't even claim to understand how it does it, I just know my uncle set it up for me and that's what it does. ), and completely utterly trashed my desktop. It's pretty much totally fried, which leaves me with only my old desktop from 1997 which really only serves as my internet router/hub for my homes computer network. The old one doesn't even have the power to run more than one application at a time really, so if I tried to put photoshop onto it I'd probably crash it or something. So now I'm stuck trying to see if I can't salvage my desktop and save some of the files for Last Words I had on there and maybe get it back into running shape.

Granted, I was planning on getting a new computer for school this year and I have all the files on CD and all my old hard copies for them, but I've lost a good chunk of the high res images which were too big to reasonably back up on disc ( I was going to get something like 6 images to a CD. I couldn't think of a more reasonable alternative. ) and the buffer I had finally managed to create is gone so I'm being forced to put up the plain unedited inked pencils until I can sort this mess out. I'm not going to quite or stop uploading, but I'm definitely going to have to get major creative here.

The best part is though, I hardly know what the hell I'm doing working on the thing so I have to rely on going slow and getting help and advice whenever I can get it.

*headdesk*

Most likely the surge just killed the motherboard. I think that's what usually happens. You could take it and get that checked by someone who knows. get them to replace it with the same model and you won't even have to reinstall.

Plus, it's relatively easy to take out your hard drive or drives and put them in another computer, so if it's/they're ok, you'll have lost not a thing :)
-better yet; hard drive enclosures are cheap and easy to use. buy one that has the same connectors as your old HD and stick it in there. Connect it up to any comp with USB and bob's your uncle ^_^

Plus, recovery is pretty straightforward if it is damaged, but still runs.

Oh hey, I've got a great idea! I'll wait for Custard to get up, then I'll dump this pile of crap where he was sitting, and then sit in the only other place he could move it too. Then when he gets pissed off and chucks my shit on the floor because I didn't stop doing this when he actually tried to be polite about it, I'll get defensive, blame everything from this to the holocaust on him, and then demand he pick it up even I'm the one who moved it in the first place.

That's pretty much what I did, I pulled the heard drive from the newer computer and stuck it in the old one since they're pretty much the same thing as far as I know and the files were more or less all sitting right there. My buffer comics were still gone, but I can live with it since it looks like that's all I lost at this point. The other one is going in to the shop to get looked at and I'm just going to have to deal with trying to get Photoshop 7.0 to run on my older PC again instead of CS3. I'm just concerned about all those extra memory intensive files crashing the old thing before I can transfer them to a USB stick. There's something like 90 megabytes of stuff just from my comics and their related files, ignoring all my design work and my dad's architecture stuff.

All in all it sucks but at least the major crisis is averted here. Either way, I think it's time I started looking into an external hardrive or something.

New bitching would be that I've spent all night up since my last post trying to fix this since I'm only minorly computer competent in these areas and I've hit the point of overtired where I can't fall asleep and my body is about ready to collapse in on itself.
