My friend had that problem, it turned out that it needed to be formatted, whatever that means.

Do any of you know what happens in the story Nothern Lights/the movie The Golden Compass? I need to read it for English and I'm too lazy, plus Wikipedia gives very long-winded explanations.

I can't even format it, my computer and PS3 won't even acknowledge the USB is plugged in. College work, comics, everything. Gone. I'm just gonna remain calm, though.
Re: Northern Lights… I remember that book! Had to do it in primary school. I've seen the film as well, but I don't remember what happens (Contadicted myself there). What I do know is that it ends on some sort of cliffhanger as it's the first of a trilogy.
But that wasn't any help at all, was it?
WOAH my USB has just lit up.
But the computer still denies it's existence.

Yeah, i read the last few words, Lyra seems sort of aggressive and then she steps out of the darkness with a wild cat. that doesn't really make much sense to me, as I haven't read much.
remaining calm can be very difficult. I tend to jump on my bed as hard as I can when i get annoyed, gorwling and headbanging. dude, it works.

ramlamaGreat…I Am The 1337 MasterOption C. I dunno what it is, but the best solution usually involves shattering your mental construct of the problem.
Query about choices.
To 72: Ha ha ha.
…ha.
sayomiIt has a lot to to with entities or whatever they were called. If you really want to get a good summation I'd have to go into detail with all three books because I don't remember when she finds her friend in the series, it being the second or first and that's one of the few things I remember.

Was a decent book though.

I like to live in hope. I'm not going to give up on this USB. Though I admit I've had it quite some time.

mm, hot chocolate…
i never got the big deal with hot chocolate.
when we went on our school trip to calshot, all my friends had hot chocolate from the machines, but I was the only one who enjoyed the cup of vegetable soup. i'm so healthy!
by the way, i am not “that sayomi girl again” lol, and if its roger you're talking about then it was the first, the northern lights.
I find it hard to get into a book that isn't harry potter or skuduggery pleasant.

SayomiI loved those books so much. Everyone basically had a Daemon, a shapesifting animal that is pretty much their soul. Adult daemons have a set form, which they choose when they come of age, which lyra hasn't yet. Soon wild conspiracy theories start flying around about ‘dust’ which adults cannot see, and Lyra finds her way to the north pole where people are preforming sickening experiments on children.
Yeah, i read the last few words, Lyra seems sort of aggressive and then she steps out of the darkness with a wild cat. that doesn't really make much sense to me, as I haven't read much.
It's pretty much a epic trilogy with lots of allusions to Catholicism and lol athiest metaphors.

Compared to some of us he's a mere slip of a lad. And is calling someone old considered an insult now? Tracy Beaker doesn't really keep you down with the street.

Probably another way of saying “street-wise”
Well, there are two books being discussed currently, and I know the name of Nothern Lights.
And I like writing in bold.

Oh. Doesn't that mean cool? Uhh, well it's my favourite show. Not the first one, but the Returns one, where she's a grown up. I like the characters.
And has every person on here heard of Tracy Beaker? I thought it was for kids?

Well, I'm sure Tracy Beaker is fairly well known. I used to watch it for some reason. It's about a girl with a temper. A short temper. Don't know much about the spin off/sequel series, though. Don't really watch TV anymore.

I didn't like the first series, she's annoying. The new series is good, though.
I just clicked on the M.Bison thing, it's creepy.

What does “down with the street” mean?
It's just another way of saying you're hip to the latest jive. Don't worry - it's time for my medication.
TSOTB and TBR are standard watching for a lot of parents. Some put tvs in their kids rooms so they can carry on watching Cash In The Attic, but I prefer to watch what the kids are watching.
It's good because I'm in and out all the time making food, cleaning and so on but they repeat those shows over and over, so after a few weeks I'll have seen the whole episode , but mostly in the wrong order.

Ugh this sucks. I've had the date “march 8th” ingrained in my brain for some reason and found out it's the release of dragon age 2.
March 6th: Pokemon b/w 35$
March 8th: DA 2 65$
Whyyyyyyy. Mom said she'd buy the pokemon one(why yes i am 12) but there's no way a 65$ game is in the question. Also my brain is telling me there's more games coming out in mar/april. My brain is also telling me i should get a job and stop being a lazy mooch.

So I decidedto adapt a song I wrote into a short comic (cause I thought the song has perfect lyrics for a slightly grotesque horror/cemetery story and I doubt I'll ever record it as a proper song anyway so what the hell)… only to find out that I CAN'T FIND THE LYRICS ANYMORE!
I keep my songs in two places: a specified notebook for them (with 21 song lyrics inside, heh, not updated since 2005 or so) and a txt file on the pc. Neither had the particular song. Panicked, I grabbed a bunch of notebooks from the last couple of years and started flipping pages.
Asd I did so, I not only found the song, but also found a stack of terrible HORRIBLE older songs that are totally embarassing (and written in the middle of my depressive phase so they're all about death, hating stuff and not caring about stuff and so on) but one of the lines caught my attention… and I ended up writing a script for a 6page comic. And found a set of thumbnails for another 1-2 page comic, heh.
So the final result should be 10 or more pages of comics :D
But first I need to do a onepager!
