Ugh, can't find a music player that I like. iTunes never fails to to make me incredibly frustrated. I've always been happy with Windows Media Player, but since I got Windows 7 for whatever reason it's been acting up. It doesn't like me to add songs to the library.
All I want is something that looks organized, shows album art and lets me easily edit song and album information. But so far nothing has all that.
I have zune. works pretty well. It supports itunes libraries, but i don't know if you can transfer music from that to your ipod.

I don't imagine you can, but I very rarely sync my ipod so that doesn't matter too much.

Only just finished a page for Monday that I've been working on since early this morning, phew. It took me longer than usual because I was distracted by the current Mafia game and flooding it with doodles, as well as trying to work out what exactly is going on.
Tomorrow is the school athletics carnival, and due to my 80 year old granny hips, I won't be participating, but I will be sitting in the stands judging people like the cranky middle-aged woman that I really am on the inside. However, it should be a good oppertunity to drawn up some more pages for the rest of the week.

NCIS LA sucks. The other version is way better. They have the same sorts of character interactions, character traits and personalities directly ported over but the plots are moronic, uninteresting and perfunctory.

Got home from work around 2, tried to go straight to bed and was unusually slow going to sleep. Then I woke up for no f*cking reason at quarter til five, struggled to go back to sleep without much success, and now have to go work a 16 hour day on like, three hours sleep.
Also today is day two of sobriety. Yes, I know it's not even eight in the f*cking morning but it's not like there's much of a chance of my drinking before noon; so there's still a chance that this could be two straight days, if I can avoid drinking during lunch or going out after work tonight. I'm tryin' to make it a week. Partly to save money, and partly to see if I can. So place yer bets on how long I stay on the wagon. (Pro tip: Last time I lasted 36 hours)

a friend told me I can infiltrate a high school successfully… if I slip on a student uniform or “dress like a teenager”. No need to dress up like a ninja and do a night time infiltration… or something like that.

The only thing I don't seem to be able to do without for too long are lollies… that's ”sweets“ to the Poms and ”candy" to the Yanks. I try… But I just neeeeed some chocolate, jersey caramels, marshmallows, something sweet to snack on. As long as it's not a chocolate bar- unless it's dark chocolate, I hate the crappy chocolate they use in normal commercial chocolate bars.

I now have The Legend of Zelda: OoT 3ds. The 3d is hard to play with, however, it makes the cut scenes amazing. And it's been so long since i replayed the game, all the puzzles are like brand new to me. so other than the story line, it's a “new game”.

I've only been drunk once, and it kinda resulted in me and my husband getting together. Long and embarrassing story. ^_^;
I spent nearly the entire year between my 21st and 22nd birthday drunk. (practically my first year on drunk duck). but not because i wasn't used to partying. mostly because the wife left me. although me getting drunk was a reason for us getting back together.
if you'd like to read more, just go to the earlier rant threads. I was pretty emo, and always posting about it.
Now, i rarely get drunk. mostly i just try to get buzzed.

I've come to realise that I really dislike neat, ordered, well trimmed gardens. I really, really, really dislike them on a strange fundamental, mental level. -Not that I prefer outright neglect either, it's just that plants, trees, flowers and grasses should be able to take a more natural, messy, scruffy appearance. That to me is beautiful.
Extreme order artificially applied to plants just seems so wrong.

I think I know the feeling… I've got quite a jerk of a cousin myself (no… not the perverted one). I really gotta stop mentioning him and his wife. My lawn looks like a slightly overgrown meadow. It's comforting to walk through even if it is only 72" wide.
Strangely I also love Japanese gardens with it's order, but it knows it's artifical, it's all so Zen and feels right so unlike many ordered Western gardens.

Good weekend at work and my current comic can now update daily through September. A happy by-product of the comic style. All the hard stuff is done when prepping panels. Once they're done and I get ‘round to assembling pages it’s clear sailing.

Ive noticed that more and more drunk duck users are playing minecraft.
We should probably set up a drunk duck minecraft server. I couldnt be bothered though.

In other news. Ive not been able to sleep well in weeks. I find myself either waking up too early or not going to sleep until well after 6am and waking up at about 12.
Recently though ive not slept much at all. I slept from 7:30am to 9am today. I was getting hand tremors and leg tremors.
Passed the course though which is good news. Bad news however is that this will not get me into university alone.
Id need another course to do that.
As it is though I think im better off getting a job.

Gardens- I do like a touch of natural in them. That's just me, I don't have anything against those who like it differently. :)
