My curse is that Quail always teases me with a 100 pointer.

But I'm still getting another 10 points. I'm up to 40 points now^^

25 points for a Bravo comic (they DO show up!) plus quadruple letter score for a Banes comic on the same strip… or is that another game?

HONK! +10 and also +500 for also having one of mine on the latest update strip while scoring +10, who makes these crazy rules?!

Edited to add:

Lottery tickets tomorrow, for sure.

10 points! On first try, too. 😁

Yes, I checked the comic behind the thumbnail with the Mr Spock plastic figurine - sorry guys, it's hard to keep track of everything sometimes. It's called Asteroid of Doom by Smiling Platypus. It's a complete finished story, and Smiling Platypus seems to have left the Duck in late 2009 from the looks of it. I haven't read it yet, though.

He stayed around long enough to give some support to an up and coming Drunk Duck member who was doing a photocomic. He was among my first readers of the original Go a Viking!.

Yay 25 points for one of mine…

…and 10 points for a full random strip…

…not that anyone's counting, except for Andreas.

I now have thirty points. I had to hit reload for fifteen minutes to get ten points. For a grand total of thirty points. The quails random hates me.

Well, now you've done it and made me count just out of spite, and I've arrived at 25 (two times ten and five self-awarded ones once that nobody actively contested at the time).

Btw. I propose that a bingo-ish match of the same thumbnail \ | / is worth 20 points if it connects QR and one other row and 200 if it connects all three.
Unlike three-row ones, a two-row bingo is actually possible, as we've seen before, and by saying so I've effectively ruled out ever getting one again, because that's just one of this universe's little ways, even if math buffs don't believe it.

If this was a contest and I were a judge, I'd bounce you for trying to game the results! This thread has made me look twice just in case I happen to find a happy accident, put I've not persistently played the one-arm bandit hoping to find one!

Well done, achievement unlocked!

Observing an experiment can skew the results, so if we don't stare too hard, anything is possible, including repeated results. Never say never. But getting a 3-row bingo requires your having a comic in the top 10 so that's a hurdle on its own. For me anyway. :)

“Gaming the system”? I'm still losing and by a great deal. That's hardly gaming the system.
It has to be to your advantage to matter. It it isn't you're just an idiot wasting their time trying to beat odds that are stacked against you but not against others.
Remember the unwritten rule of Drunkduck: bravo1102 is not allowed to win.

Random means random, you could just as easily have got several full strips by now as just a couple, or your own comics showing up many times over.

Another +10 without even trying, lol:

If Lite Bites had cooperated I could'a had 3 of 'em on my bingo card. Oh the adulation that would have been mine.

The odds are always the same but that does mean there are not some very perplexing seeming patterns. Like one really can flip a coin and never get tails. The odds are always 50/50.
So it is fascinating though.

Yeah I think that's the attraction, trying to see how the universe's cogwheels spin.

+10 for a full random strip, and bonus points for my not recognizing any of these comics!

As the starter of this epic thread, I think spotting a Lothar comic earns 100 points!
