Yes, I checked the comic behind the thumbnail with the Mr Spock plastic figurine - sorry guys, it's hard to keep track of everything sometimes. It's called Asteroid of Doom by Smiling Platypus. It's a complete finished story, and Smiling Platypus seems to have
left the Duck in late 2009 from the looks of it. I haven't read it yet, though.

I now have thirty points. I had to hit reload for fifteen minutes to get ten points. For a grand total of thirty points. The quails random hates me.

Well, now you've done it and made me count just out of spite, and I've arrived at 25 (two times ten and five self-awarded ones once that nobody actively contested at the time).
PaulEberhardt wrote:Observing an experiment can skew the results, so if we don't stare too hard, anything is possible, including repeated results. Never say never. But getting a 3-row bingo requires your having a comic in the top 10 so that's a hurdle on its own. For me anyway. :)
Btw. I propose that a bingo-ish match of the same thumbnail \ | / is worth 20 points if it connects QR and one other row and 200 if it connects all three.
Unlike three-row ones, a two-row bingo is actually possible, as we've seen before, and by saying so I've effectively ruled out ever getting one again, because that's just one of this universe's little ways, even if math buffs don't believe it.
bravo1102 wrote:Random means random, you could just as easily have got several full strips by now as just a couple, or your own comics showing up many times over.
“Gaming the system”? I'm still losing and by a great deal. That's hardly gaming the system.
It has to be to your advantage to matter. It it isn't you're just an idiot wasting their time trying to beat odds that are stacked against you but not against others.
Remember the unwritten rule of Drunkduck: bravo1102 is not allowed to win.
bravo1102 wrote:Yeah I think that's the attraction, trying to see how the universe's cogwheels spin.
The odds are always the same but that does mean there are not some very perplexing seeming patterns. Like one really can flip a coin and never get tails. The odds are always 50/50.
So it is fascinating though.

Saw the strip I just updated also in the random!

+10 for me (also a Lothar comic but id doesn't give points).
