We're already almost at the halfway point of Pride Month, and well, the Duck has an event going!

About a week in June, and seeing everything happening where people are being treated terribly (to put it mildly) for just being true to themselves and who they are, it occurred to me that The Duck is All Inclusive- and we should show that by celebrating Pride Month in some way!

And so I reached out to the fantastic Skyangel of Simply Sarah and Nikki, A Life Less Ordinary fame so that the Blue Sky DD Pride Month event could be born!

And it was :D

Every day from June 10 to June 30, so for 20 days, the DD Blue Sky account posts one LGBTQ webcomic, giving it a small showcase/feature in a post, with the hashtag #DDPrideMonth!

The list of webcomics was compiled by Skyangel because I am just an LGBTQ webcomics ignoramus (but happy to learn from the experts!) and we are already on Day 4 as I'm writing this, and today is Day 5! The webcomics are both complete ones and ongoing, current and older. All of them have been or are DD favorites within their genre! (Thank you Sky for making the entire event at all possible, btw, by compiling this!)

If you are on Blue Sky, consider giving the DD Pride Month event some love, by reposting and commenting on these posts, and most importantly, consider giving the featured webcomics and creators ALL the love by giving them some comments!

My plan is that moving forward, every year on Pride Month we'll be doing this Blue Sky feature. Next year the idea is to be a lot more organized so all of the DD community can be involved and bring forth recommendations for 30 comics for 30 days (or more, why not!).
