About

Where to start? My name is Joey.
Age: 29
Location: Panama City Beach, FL

Ive been drawing comics and other things on and off for as long as I can remember. Somewhere through my early 20s, I decided I wanted to scriptwrite my own animated stories and direct them. As lofty as a goal as that was for an ex-theatre major with a year of college, I decided to try and learn video editing and animation after I got my first computer 3 years ago (yeah, late bloomer). Ive gotten pretty good with video editing and Photoshop, but I know now why people go to school for years for this. I was almost ready to call it quits when Flash proved itself to be more complicated than I had imagined. And the large number of 12 year olds that could pwn me at pretty much everything didnt help either. But then I realized, no one learns this over night. Though the progress doesnt come as fast as I like, 3 years ago I didnt know how to use a jump drive, so Id say HOORAY for progress.
Superbastard will be my first full series. Hopefully I should have some panels up later this summer 2008.

A longwinded rant about working night-stock at a Winn-Dixie in Panama City Beach. A short spinoff of "Superbastard". 8 pages long. This was my first coloring project using Photoshop CS2. Line art done w/ pencil and pigment liner.

OK, so I like to do fan art to practice up on my skills, and just because I feel like it. The are probably a few Naruto fans strips on the way. Hell, anything may be in here.

A bit cheesy comic, you might say. On top of always being beaten down by Ryan, now Mick has fallen in love with a girl. Quite the tragedy for the shy guy that he is. But THAT is not his biggest problem. There's... something else...

BLACKOUT DRUNK is a comedic look at a college student named Rod. The story follows the crazy exploits and screwball antics of this inebriated self proclaimed Romeo, as he wakes to find himself getting into one escapade after another.

It's a fantasy comic loaded with unashamed homages to my favorite horror movies, featuring a colorful cast of characters, and for some of them I mean that literally. The cast is mostly non-human, both mythological creatures from folklore and original creatures. A lot of friendship and found family, and a few rampages of revenge.

Hi I'm Carly, and for some reason I scare the Buh-Jeezus outta people! Not intensionally, they just think I'm weird. But I'm a really nice normal person. With lots and lots of friends! Lots of 'em, yup, lots. Who? Um, people too important to tell you

You think your job is tough? Angn D'Lazmuh just got hired to run the largest Galactic Hub in space, let's just hope the Hub doesn't put up a fight... NOTE: THIS IS AN ARCHIVED COMIC

Fearing an imminent breakdown, the Grim Reaper decides to take a Holiday. After an exhaustive search for a replacement, he finds only his cousin’s nephew’s son to collect the souls of those who are perishing. He is… Jim Reaper.

Rated bizarre for: monsters, zombies, cannibalism, school girls, unrequited love (with a vengeance), government conspiracy, chocolate bunnies, angels vs. demons, all that with a limb or two to spare.

Because it sparkles so brilliantly. Comics by Keegan Basset Updates Monday

In a place where cold weather never seems to cease, a seventeen-year-old is held against his will. He plans to escape, but where to? A life of captivity is the only one he's known, so how could he be sure that the world outside is any different?

The Comic based on the TnT Morning Show on 98.9 The Bear. Turner Watson and Parker Thomas are two rapscallions with a radio show, and this is their comic.

Thanks for the friending - it's like the shinning, only Stephen King doesn't come after me with lawyers if we call it something else. Also, an insane Jack Nicholsen doesn't chase us around a frozen hotel with an axe!
