I haven't done one of these in a while because I was sick with CoVod-19, so HPKomic filled in for me instead, which I'm super grateful for! I'm all better now thankfully.
Here we have Emm's latest designs to look at and comment on. Alexey says he can make this! I had some reservations about the simplicity of the design but Emm addressed them and changed things around. The cover image is a teeny bit different- I added a placeholder logo and changed the link text to bold and the colour to green instead of grey just to add some pizzaz.

There is a full site and mobile sized one. Alexy plans to make a bit wide one too for large screens.

I just want to say thank you so much for all the comments and feedback you've all had throughout this process. It's been immensely helpful. The aim of this redesign was to push the comics front and centre whilst maintaining the core functionality of the site. I also wanted to keep elements of the DrunkDuck site we know and love. Hopefully I got the right balance there. Thank you again for all your support on this project and to Oz and the mod squad for all of their feedback. It's been a pleasure to be able to give back to the community I love and have been with for so long. <3 There's more to come! :D

This looks perfect, as long as infinite scroll is an option that can be disabled by whoever's using the site easily. I know most people prefer infinite scroll designs, but there's some practicality to next/previous/ect.

Welcome to the club, Oz. I had it myself not too long ago, and I'm glad you're feeling better again. These latest designs look great! I think they achieve a great balance of being simple and recognisable and invite users to immerse themselves in all the great comics here.

I cannot wait for this to become our new look, we'll done guys! I'm struggling for anything constructive to add to this, other than suggesting that maybe DD Comics, as used in the Patreon link is the way to go. The term 'webcomic' feels somewhat redundant these days.

Glad to hear you are feeling better now, it sounds like you've had it pretty rough! I didn't realise HPkomic was just covering for you but he has certainly done an excellent job. As for Emm's new layout, I do really like it and I think simplicity is key nowadays to grabbing peoples attention as well as user pleasure. I must say that with every design you've put forwards so far the one thing that I love most is this new idea of a kind of top ten in a number of different categories instead of just the one we now have. The more comics that get on the front page the more lively and healthy the site looks, which feels a lot fairer too. Great work guys and thanks for all the hard work you put in to keep this site something really special!

Oh no, I hope you're recovered by now! I've had so many friends who have come down with that. I love how things are coming along. Honestly, I like the logo with the duck there in the first picture just fine -- I just wanted there to be something identifiable and memorable for people, so the Duck is distinct in their minds as an icon of this medium. All this impressive work should definitely be memorable for anyone who sees it! The design is coming along so beautifully.
