Hello hello! Today I have a bunch of announcements and discussions to share with you in my constant quest to showcase as many DDers as possible without starting something and then letting it peter out (like the Twitter features, which let's face it, I'm not keen on doing on X).

Before anything and everything though, I want to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT TO THE AMAZING, THE AWESOME, THE ILLUSTRIOUS QUEEN OF THE VANQUISHED SPAMMERS AMELIUS, aka AMY OF DARKNESS!!!

Ever since my call to arms against the spammers who have become craftier (making spam comics and posting on the forums and stuff, rather than be easily picked off at registration) Amelius has done a frigging stellar job of finding them for me to destr– to eliminat– to remove them from the site. I am forever grateful because I could never do such an awesome job and I needed to do this shoutout because just saying thank you in PQs doesn't cut it for me. I need to gush in public! So if this is awkward, please forgive me Amelius, it's just me being me (happy version heh heh heh).

Okay, SO- onwards to more news.

I've taken it upon myself to bring back creator interviews. These will be text interviews and will have nothing to do with Quackcast interviews like the one we had the pleasure of doing with John Celestri. There will be a standard format (nothing too rigid) of question and answer, and some sections that will probably require photo answers (to showcase the art).

These Creator Interviews will either be featured on Saturday if Sunday's slot is taken or on Sunday if there is no Sunday post. I'm thinking once a month, unless they are so popular there's more demand for them, whereupon perhaps we'll find them their own home in the site.

I will have a forum thread where people who want to be interviewed will be able to sign up. Order will be first come first served IF I'M THE ONE DOING THE INTERVIEWS.

And here's where I'd like you to offer feedback. Would you like there to be many different interviewers doing the interviews? If so, I will set up a second thread in the forum where people will sign up to be interviewers. Then I will randomly match them with interviewees from the other thread and their resulting text interview will go up in the order that I receive them, so it will be first received, first published.

Let me know what you think! Also, post in this thread with your favorite questions/ types of questions to answer and to read the answers to, so we can make this new showcasing feature a success for the site and for the awesome DD comic creators that will be participating!
